This is a great deal on a decent waterproof jacket. Beats the other prices on the market . Note the price requires a go outdoors card as does all from this retailer. If you have never shopped here before it will cost you an added £5 but it validates discount for a year and is still a great deal. Click and collect only.

Bought the older version jacket in the winter of 2008 for around £90 before North Face really blew up and it's been fantastic ever since so hot from me.

Not the warmest of jackets but keeps you dry. I have washed it a few times with Nikwax Tech Wash to keep it water resistent.

not goretex I think, reviews are mixed

You may find hard to get any local stock, go outdoors have lost contract with North Face, so this is old stock they are now shifting or have aquir through third parties.

Go outdoors....masters of offers that do not exist!

Either this will be in a tiny handful of stores, or in size Small and thats it, or they will take the order and then email you saying out of stock / computer glitch and refund you. All a con to get you to sign up for the card.

Dont get me wrong, as a store its ok, but thier offers and card scheme leave a lot to be desired.

Cold. OOS everywhere i checked.

YES.

Lots of web listings with very good prices with no stock, or hideous colours. Also the mass pile em hight sell em cheap stores like this cheapen once quality brands.

They appear to have ditched all their North Face stock in the Cheadle Heath branch.

Please note that the above Reserve & Collect availability was calculated at the closing time the previous day. Please complete your Reserve & Collect order and wait for confirmation before travelling to the store.

they update it often then

Gorerex is over rated and is about as breathable as a carrier bag, better membranes exist for far less money, one good benefit is that the garment will have a lifetime guarantee but then you could probably destroy four cheaper garments for a 1/4 of the price!

gorerex, never heard of it. what is better than goretex? I've got goretex motorcycle gear and brilliant, not a drop has got through in record levels of rain in Scotland

I've got one of these and although it keeps you water proof, do not expect it to keep you warm.

seems a good price to me.

such a poor company with limited / no stock. even if you reserve and collect, the either don't confirm item is ready for collection or when you get there its the wrong item. best thing is ring them up and check they have the correct item before you travel. they gave me free membership last year when they couldn't supply this exact jacket. been with them a yuear and never got one of the better deals. little chance of getting this

I've just tried 2 items in go outdoors, says in stock,it turns out only wolverhampton have the stock in the uk. what a pointless misleading website. I'll be buying elsewhere

No fleece lining. Not warm, just water- and wind-proof.
