Often cited as one of the best film of the 2000s and possibly the definitive example of extreme Asian cinema.

In other words not the rubbish US remake.

Meeesssssed up movie

Totally messed up. Now in 4K HDR so you can really see how messed up it is.

Will get it soon as it drops to £3.99 as do most Arrow movies.

Maybe, maybe not especially since the 4K disc is not out yet. Plus not many art house types of films get released in 4K. I'm very surprised that this came out before the disc is even released. I do hope that you are right though.

It’s cos Arrow doesn’t do 4K discs yet. Their standard blurays cost upward of £20 so if they ever did 4K discs I wonder what those would be priced at!

There’s always an inevitable price drop on iTunes but have voted this deal hot either way

Your first sentence made me remember that this isn't an arrow source. It's from Germany and the disc is due the end of November. Arrow or someone is or has released a 2K version from the same master though.
Great film and soundtrack!
I wish they would release memories of murder, that’s my favourite Korean film along with oldboy which came out around the same time. Chan-Wook Park and Bong Joon-Ho are probably the best film makers to come out of that period
Excellent film but completely messes with your head. I enjoyed the James Brolin version also....

Bong's new film Parasite is getting rave reviews. Might be the first Korean film I watch at the cinema.

Edit. Looks like they're aren't releasing it over here until 2020. Time to look for "other" options

Yeah that’s on my radar. I was lucky to see a limited release version of the Host which was amazing at the cinema

I would argue that Kim Ki-duk’s Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter... and Spring puts him up there. Beautiful film, and not in any way as disturbing as Oldboy et al. ^_^

Also if anybody’s aware of a Blu Ray or higher imprint of Spring, Summer... I’d love to know, I’ve got a very elderly 420p DVD of iit and I’d love to get a better quality version.

Nope, DVD is all there is. Unless you get the Korean Blu-ray (which doesn't have English subtitles). The American Amazon video has an HD digital version, sadly the UK Amazon does not.
Every now and then I have a search around but that’s all I ever get. I’d love them to re-release it in a higher def, it’s such a beautiful film. ^_^
