From the producers of Band of Brothers, The Pacific tracks the real-life journeys of three U.S. Marines--Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda)--across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theatre during World War II. The extraordinary experiences of these men and their fellow Marines take them from the first clash with the Japanese in the haunted jungles of Guadalcanal, through the impenetrable rain forests of Cape Gloucester, across the blasted coral strongholds of Peleliu, up the black sand terraces of Iwo Jima, through the killing fields of Okinawa, to the triumphant, yet uneasy, return home after V-J Day.

Great Series or so I have heard

cold. cheaper at tescos (with the 15% voucher)

Good deal but Must resist...........

Hopefully, it won't be too long before it goes down to £17.99 like BoB.

too far away to pre-order now. Bsides I can watch it on sky player at the mo.
Funny thing is it's dearer in the states, $70 on amazon.com, and that is reduced from $99. We win for once?

good price, but I expect this to drop, as I dont think it was received as well as BoB.
They should have carried that on instead of making something else.

Would wait on this, was no where near as good as Band of Brothers.

It was better scripted, written and directed than Band of Brothers, but the production value is poor in comparison - it would seem that Spielberg and Hanks had alot more money to spend!

Very enjoyable series.

...no it wasn't, BoB was far, far better...the scripting for Pacific was awful as was the acting... ...overblown and surprisingly disjointed, I wouldn't buy this at any price as I have no desire to watch it again!

As has been pointed to before, having seen the first 2 episodes, there is no character connection. In fact I struggled to identify any of them as it jumped around. BoB was far far superior. Agree this will get cheaper quickly.
