    I've been waiting for this over 10 years. Think they had trouble getting the finance to film, surprisingly. Got some big names in it too. Also thought, if Pacific had interviews with the real soldiers like bob did, then it be on same par. (edited)

    Not as good as band of brothers previous posters have said, but its still better than 95% of anything else thats out there!

    Spot on. Don't understand comments saying they couldn't finish it. It's still excellent cinema.

    Late post as I ordered my copy on Jan 5th (Thursday night) and collected the next day Friday Jan 6th.

    I don't see anywhere here in the description written that it's a steel/tin box set (at least the picture shows a steelbox)

    So absolute bargain given that I picked up the steel boxset
