Thought this was a good price on these, especially if you're fairly limited budget wise. The saucepans have lids, which is mentioned in the below blurb. One thing to note from the reviews, is that the milk pan doesn't have a non stick coating.

Induction Compatible, Dishwasher Safe, Oven Safe

Set includes:
  • 16cm saucepan - H8 x W16 x D33.5cm
  • 18cm saucepan - H9 x W18 x D36cm
  • 20cm saucepan - H10 x W20 x D40cm
  • 14cm milk pan - H7.5 x W14 x D31cm
  • 24cm non-stick frying pan - H5.5 x W24 x D44cm

'The Pan' Stainless Steel is our great-value range made with durable 18/10 stainless steel which is good at conducting heat and perfectly food-safe. We use 18/10 as this grade of stainless steel is corrosion-resistant due to the presence of chromium and nickel. For the base, we use 18/0 stainless steel which is magnetic and so suitable for all hobs, including induction.

Key benefits:
  • Durable stainless steel
  • Heat-resistant silicone handles riveted for strength
  • Dishwasher safe and oven safe to 180°C
  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Saucepans have pouring lips
Saucepans have glass pour and strain lids and capacity markingsSuitable for use on all hobs, including inductionGetting the most from your induction pans
All of our John Lewis & Partners induction pans are tested to British and European standards for safety and performance. To ensure the functionality of induction pans, it is important to make sure the magnetic circuit with the hob isn't broken by:

  • Making sure the size of the pan base is no smaller than the hob 'ring'
  • Using pans with a flat base
  • Not lifting the pan off the hob top continuously
  • Giving coated and aluminium pans with steel bases more time to heat, as the aluminium sides do not heat directly from the hob

Just to correct the post, the frying pan is the only item that has non-stick coating. Which is even better in my opinion.

Yeah I am the same. My stainless steel non stick pans are like new and 15 years old. The non stick scratches too easily

    Thanks. Ordered.

Dishwasher safe and induction compatible? Great. I can get rid of this bloody awful Swann set that my wife purchased because "they're blue".

Next need to get rid of the Swann microwave purchased for the same form other function reason. (edited)

In the photograph of the complete set, the upturned lids are supporting the pans above them. So there are three lids, and I'm a little unsure why the bottom half of the largest saucepan seems to be black, unlike the others.
