Hello everyone this is my first post so be kind on me....

I was on orange PAYG on EE network after coming to an end of my 24 months contract. I searched around all places and finally found this deal which is too good not to share

The People's operator (TPO) which uses EE's network at the moment is offering the following:
Grab Unlimited Talk*, Text and 3GB of Data and give 10% back to the cause you love all on a rolling 30-day contract! It’s the UK’s best deal not just because it’s fantastic value but also because no other provider enables you to give 10% back to causes. Join before Jan 15th and we'll give you your 1st & 2nd months on our Best Deal at just £3.99! You get months 1 & 2 at just £3.99 per month and then pay the usual price of £14.99 thereafter. Hurry, ends 15th Jan

On top of that there is a potential £12.60 cashback via Topcashback uk. My sim got delivered within 24 hours. This is only a monthly contract so you can opt out anytime and you can use it for 2 months if it is not for you than you can choose a different operator. Please note that if you are on (Orange, EE or T-mobile) then this is a lot cheaper option.

Enjoy........and 10% of the money you pay TPO goes to your selected charity/cause......

This deal has been posted many times before. From the man who brought us Ovivo, I believe...

Deal title is misleading. You're "signing up" to a £14.99 deal with the first 8 weeks at a reduced price.

as the OP says there is no obligation to stay beyond 2 months so it isn't really misleading. If nothing else you get 2 months cheap while you search for the best deal you can find

I would not recommend using an MVNO if you are a heavy streamer of video.

This is basically the same deal they constantly give. Unlimited Talk, txt & 3gb so not much of a sale.
£12 deal looks good though.

Maybe you should actually read the 1st paragraph

'And since our packages are all rolling 30-day contracts, you don't have to tie yourself down'

Cold I'm afraid £14.99 is the true price and it's an awful deal. Who goes on a network for 2 months?

So many misinformed comments. It's not the same ppl as OVIVO at all, and you're not tying yourself into a 14.99 contract. It's 30 day rolling, I took this out and then after the promo period went onto their £12/month deal without any probs at all. 4g hopefully coming after the summer (as per their tweets) and 10% of your NET spend goes to a charity you choose. Piggy back off of EE.

Maybe you should actually read my comment. I said the title is misleading as it suggests a rolling contract at £3.99 per month, which clearly isn't the case.

Not the case
You said 'You're "signing up" to a £14.99 deal with the first 8 weeks at a reduced price'
You do not have to pay £14.99 as it is a 30 day contract
Perhaps you should read your own comment

Since when is posting a few facts and pointing out your post was misleading trolling?

EE are offering unlimited minutes, texts and 2gb of 4gee data for 15.99 with £3 a month discount for 12 months bringing it down to 12.99 effective for those 12 months. existing customers only, includes payg.

The ee deal is better for those who want 4g now and may work out better over the 12 months... Any one care to do the maths?

So what do you suggest people do after the first two months if they don't want to pay £14.99? Also, really I would say this uses (I hate the term piggyback) the Orange/T-Mobile network as 4G is not available. Furthermore, your data speeds are likely to be heavily throttled if the host network is busy because host networks will always priority over MVNOs. It is a very small saving for a vastly lower quality of service I am afraid.

Same people? … Same people? Guesswork?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_People%27s_Operatorhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ovivo

funnily enough, something I read on here a while ago. Never bothered checking up on it. Guess there is some misinformation online. Who'd thought it?
