The Phoenix - Weekly Children's Comic - 4 issues for £1 (trial)

Brilliant comic for 7+ readers. Has really helped my youngest improve her reading. Wacky characters and something for boys and girls.

I ordered this through a Facebook deal offering the same as this so I think it's a standard deal. As a parent with fond memories of The Beano, I was more impressed with the magazines than my 8 year old who was more interested in getting his reading fix from diary of a wimpy kid etc and his magazine style fix from YouTube videos. It's a shame because it seems like a good magazine. It's not cheap after the trial and it's not easy to cancel in the fact that you have to go on the website and actively search the small print to find the phone number to cancel. However once I managed to get organised and call, I couldn't fault the customer service.

Glad to hear all the feedback is good. Hopefully, this will be enjoyed by my children. I've added the link to cancelling in the op, but I think £29 for 12 weeks/issues is around 2.60 per issue - not bad imo

But, will reserve judgement once it arrives

Our first issue arrived yesterday, daughter seems impressed. Will be interesting to see what her thoughts are after four issues
