Recently started housekeeping a slightly run down property. Picked some of this up have so far used it on a rusted old brabantia bin which came up amazing! The oven (the glass came out best I ever seen), the painted windowsill where someone had put a bowl on and had discoloured. On the spider and dead insect carcass that had become part of the wooden floor.. which has now disappeared. Really impressed with this stuff. Great for asthma sufferers like myself too, low odour and no aggravation.

Thanks thrifty ,I've 3 ovens to clean so il give it a go .
I was using this years ago before Mrs Hinch got all excited about it and demand/sales rocketed. Still have the original black tub it uses to come in. Be careful it's abrasive so can scratch some surfaces. Can also leave a powdery residue if not cleaned off properly.
that pink stuff is pretty amazing stuff for cleaning...
Is this not just cream cleanser that used to be around 19p?

Yes I agree it's just a big hype like all the other "amazing" products hyped on Facebook, I'll stick to my regular cleaning products thanks

Also great for getting scuffs off rubber soles on shoes. Cleaned up all the families converse nicely and made old pairs look like new after a wash too 👌

Ok. I haven’t tried it on everything so shouldn’t have stated such. But for what I have used it for (oven/kitchen/bathroom), it’s worked very well.

Yeah works well on them but do be careful with it. It contains micro beads which helps get the muck off.

Thank you. I’ll just stick to using it on the tougher jobs and hard wearing surfaces. Don’t fancy scratching paint off anything decent!

I'm a bit weird. I love the smell of that stuff (Vim Scouring Powder - oops that one is Ajax). Harder to find nowadays.

The Pink Stuff was compared to the also hard to find (for me, anyway) Barkeeper's Friend, which is amazing on Stainless Steel, and a similar product. Will have to try it.

OneBelow sell The Pink Stuff but can't remember how much they charge.

This is very true. The pack says it's good for cleaning paintwork so I used this on my front door. Turns out that even when following the instructions exactly, it's also an unexpected but effective paint stripper! Luckily I was cleaning my door ready to re-paint it, so it didn't bother me, but this would be less than ideal for most people and could be quite costly to fix.

Don't think I'll be buying it again!
Steven Tyler's favourite colour!
