Looks like this might only be for Prime members, but £18.49 for 2KG Whey Protein seems to be a good deal. Normally around £27 according to CamelCamelCamel and cheapest it's ever been. If you subscribe and save the price drops to £17.57 if you have 5% or with more S&S items would drop even further (15%).

Seen lots of these posted, is hukd full of meatheads?

More people who exercise nowadays, be it cycling, weight training, running, swimming, boxing etc the list goes on. Recovery is a key point to training and chomping down a couple of chicken breasts constantly is expensive and not convenient for most. I have a shake straight after a big ride so that I recover quicker.

Also it's the season where blokes realise it's a couple of months till summer and need to look like Arnie.

I agree, some people still voting cold it seems. Would love to know where they are getting this amount of quality protein delivered for less!
they vote cold for the hell of it, or maybe they don't have amazon prime, and or, don't like amazon. anyway regardless. a bargain hunter knows a good deal when he/she sees one. I've also used TPW before, so its a good brand. £18 for 2kg! won't find that anywhere at the moment. I usually stock up on these as it sees me throughout the year
I find the protein works quality is much better than MyProtein.

Good to hear. I usually use Myprotein and never had any complaints but 2.5kg is normally around £25 delivered.

Yup I agree
Myprotein are doing 40% off their impact whey...5kg bags are around £39 flavoured...so for eg 10kg of myp impact whey is £78 delivered, 10kg of this £87.85 on s&s delivered...but MP require you to spend £45 minimum to get free delivery

Yours is a much better deal. Never had any problem mixing it either. Mildly hilarious reading comments about people taking a protein supplement who aren't strong enough to mix a milkshake.

Haha, people consume protein shakes without having any need for them at all. The likes of TPW and Myprotein are clapping their hands. They say 130g a day is more than enough for most people and I struggle to not hit that with my daily diet.

It's all a gigantic marketing sham. Yes there are people who genuinely require supplementation (athletes, bodybuilders, strongmen etc), but your average Joe who needs to "recover" from a bike ride, give me a break. Goodness me.

How does this brand compare to ON and MyProtein?

ON are consistently the best selling whey protein supplements, and probably for good reason. I tend to stick with ON. Not at c£50 for a 2.2kg tub though.

Anyone know whether ON is actually a better product or not?

You have to realise that they all work, ON uses the following things in their gold standard whey product...

- Whey Protein Isolate (WPI)
- Whey Protein Microfractions from Whey Protein Isolates & Ultra-Filtered Whey Protein Concentrate
- Over 4 Grams of Glutamine & Glutamic Acid in Each Serving
- More Than 5 Grams of the Naturally Occurring Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine in Each serving

MP whey is just straight up whey, no added extras like ON gold standard, maybe that is why people are seeing better results with ON whey.

But I have seen a few of my friends use both ON and MP and they have been progressing the same...its all down to how your diet is and whey is to 'supplement' your diet, ie top up your protein levels everyday...yes are are certain brands or makes out there that use cheap quality ingredients...ON, MP, Bulk Powders, USN etc good brands have been on the market for so long for a reason...

Performance wise I believe same as MyProtein but IMO the flavours are much better and taste a bit more premium.

If you have the 15% subscribe and save (5 items or more), then 10kg of TPW Whey in this deal actually comes to £78.58 delivered. Having to buy 5x more from Myprotein to make a 58p saving doesn't seem particularly worthwhile. Thanks for sharing though

Take a look on Labdoor.com. Myprotein is always one of the best rated powders available quality wise. ON generally doesn't compare very well.

I think I've just been blinded by science!
The highest rated protein scores just 67% for label accuracy - that's gotta be worrying!
