FYI: These are analogue, dedicated 7.1 headset, they have individual channel wires, not a usb.

Will not work with any games consoles, you might even need an external soundcard for your pc.

Requires a lot of setting up, but once set up, will sound amazing.

Pretty sure they do. My razer krakens work fine on PS. Personally I would jump on these if I didnt already have the krakens

Hmm, I have these with a dedicated soundcard as motherboard soundcards are not strong enough to drive these. After an expensive outlay I was disappointed. Surround sound is marginally better than virtual headsets but sound quality sucks for the price which I later found out is typical of multi driver headsets as the drivers negatively interact with each other at certain frequencies.

I'd be interested to show you a video I watched on YouTube. He pretty much admitted the sound quality is awful out of the box, it required eq, crossover settings and other settings within windows sounds in order to get a good sound.

He basically said that if you invest the time into configuring it you can get something amazing, it's definitely not plug and play.

I ordered one as I was interested to see what I could get from it, I'll spend a good few hours on it and it I can't get it to sound good I'll just return it, they should provide better instructions if it takes so much effort to get it to sound good.

From what I read there are physical interactions at specific frequencies and while you can compensate you cannot achieve accuracy through the frequency range. I would be very interested in said YouTube video but from the reading I did it seemed this was a known limitation of multi-driver headphones.

Absolute bargain at this price my friend has the V1 of these for around 5 years and they are still like new and comfortable

Would never recommend any Razer head sets. Had 2 different ones (Razer Kraken 7.1 and Man o'war) and each one had faults. The Man O'War I had actually sent back 4 times because Razer kept sending me faulty headsets. Be very careful!

Although this sounds like a bad experience, i've heard nothing but good reviews about the quality of this particular product.

Seems better constructed than most other gaming headsets.
