This is fantastic value and a wonderful opportunity to have a really special night out never to forget.

Just to breakdown the approx savings:

A glass of champers cost £20+ alone, starters approx £20 and main courses approx £40, most deserts are £15, this would total approx £100 per person

So this would make a substantial saving at only £55

This place has amazing reviews on tripadvisor and in top 50 in London, the amazing reviews are endless.

I appreciate the deal is not for everybody budget, but this would cost you alot-lot more without a deal like this.

Available lunch Mon - Sat & dinner Mon - Sun (last reservations 18.30 Fri-Sat & 19.00 Sun) until 5th April 2015, subject to availability. Dishes from a set menu & subject to change.

£55 for 3 courses & Champers , You could easily spend that in a local restaurant. Good deal.

Great deal, looking to go London soon, thanks

Anyone have experience using this type of booking?
Do i need to mention I'm using Bookatable £55 deal when i arrive?

Thanks

Great deal, are infants allowed for lunch?

Not sure about Bookatable but on other offers you usually mention it when booking and sometimes have to take a voucher or proof with you...sometimes it is a set menu or a different one from the a la carte menu. Being the Ritz however they may have a more up-market way of doing things
I hope you have a lovely time
Jane

You're only making a saving on their already massive markup on all prices.

That's a cracker....

Anyone?

Good deal

used this deal as soon as it came out. went on a Thursday night. hands down the best dinner experience we've ever had. not the best food I've ever eaten but still pretty great. The ambiance is just too wonderful with live music from the grand piano and the massive hall. If you can swing it, I'd say definitely go for it. £55 is what you would normally pay for a decent meal anyways.

Pay for the experience though- to say you've been to the ritz makes people think you've spent a lot of money.

Great deal no doubt about it

Just to note I'd be checking the dress code before going... is likely the men need to wear a suit and tie, and no idea what the ladies code may be.

A suit and tie to eat food, laughable.

Great price for the Ritz, had a very nice afternoon tea here.

Good deal. Just beware, the cheapest bottle of wine will be in the £60 range. So remember you'll need to add that on to the final price.

Unless you just have tap water....

Erm, not really.

Hot deal, did this a few years ago with the addition of a mystery hotel deal on lastminute.com for £50 which turned out to be the Park Plaza Victoria and used it to propose to by now wife.
Great service at the Ritz and hotel was top notch too

Great price for a meal at the Ritz worth that for the experience, but looking at their rooms to stay it looks like you could buy a small house for a nights stay in their Five bedroom suite: 2,802 square feet!!! No prices you have to email oO

Went there when it was £94 for 2 people.
Food was good, but I cannot say it was amazing.
Service and overall environment were very good.

Worth to try it once, but probably will not go there again.

Says the lady all dolled up to do the washing up -- those are rubber gloves you're putting on, aren't they!

Great Deal but don't go in there wearing ripped jeans and dirty trainers ;-)

Looks like a limited set menu ?

Rather go Wetherspoons 4.99 with a free drink

She's a nurse. They are rubber gloves, but she's not doing the washing up...

Looks like a good deal, here's hoping if there's a guitarist accompianing the pianist he doesn't just play almost endless barre chords.

You can always make a request, if you don't ask, you don't get as they say. I'd be asking if they can play Star Wars or Indiana Jones

I think that one flew over your head although I didn't make it that obvious.

Ah right yes I see now. I did think your apparent dislike of barre chords was strange! Still who knows, maybe someone from on here might just end up having a fine dining experience to the music of Star Wars.

The irony.

any one knows what is the child policy on this deal?

From some of the comments above sounds like there will be clients visiting that think a Harvester is a posh restaurant.
Not sure why The Ritz would run such promotions?

dazbowski

A suit and tie to eat food, laughable.

Agreed, done it but it just seems pompous/pretentious

Then again, I guess its probably more appropriate for the likes of The Ritz

Not my idea of fun though and I prefer to be fed and not served enough food to feed a mouse

competition, loads of half decent restaurants in London though there are more Michelin 3 star restaurants near where I live in Berkshire, not that they are my idea of a nice meal out. id rather eat at a decent gastro pub.

But wearing a suit and tie to eat a meal IS ridiculous - and yes I have done it. With business clients it was fine but with the wifey its just plain odd although its in keeping with the ambience to be fair

I've done this deal before. It was a fantastic day out.
