Not been impressed with silentnight electric blankets - had 3 now, all packed up after about a year and a half of use.

Currently using a Dreams one - Much, much better - around 3+ years old and still going strong

But at this price, a year and a bit you cant complain at
@118luke been using mine for around six years now can't fault it so maybe I got hold of a good one.

Maybe they started using cheaper ingredients... about five years ago?
random input from me as usual...was chatting to someone in Dunelm today who said she'd seen £35 ones online with them for £11 and the stock system said in stock so made them go out the back and find the last one. sooo...if you're looking for an electric blanket and can't get the above deal worth checking Dunelm instead if you have one locally
BEWARE - These do not cover the whole bed. We had a 'double' for a double bed. They're just made way too small.

We replaced ours with the mattress cover version - granted a bit more expensive, but found a deal as we do - and it's excellent! Entire bed surface heated, with his/her (or her/her, his/his, so on) controls.

However, if you're not sharing the bed, or don't care too much about your feet being cold, this is obviously a very, very good price!

    Thumbs up for the inclusivity!
I don't know about the double, but I just got a Kingsize one for a 6ft wide bed and it covered the whole bed!
I'm on my 3rd one as it kept breaking. Always keep the receipt with anything you buy. Especially electrical items. I have a receipt tin.

No, really, though. Not a joke.

You will have to try your local Tesco see if they have any left but I'm don't like your chances of finding any now.
    Tesco again ....
