My daughter wants this. the cheapest I've found it for elsewhere is £16+
cheapest this game has ever been I think, by quite a bit.

cheers OP!
Great price, ta!
Hot deal. My wallet is starting to suffer with all these good download deals!
Just be wary that when buying it on Steam you can only buy the DLC on Steam- not from elsewhere!
The DLC is also up to 66% off as well 'Stuff' packs are only £3.39, though given the amount of stuff you get, that's probably all its worth, but cheapest I've ever seen it.
Hot. I paid over £20 at Christmas for this on disk (for Daughter).
Cheap. But what a dreadful 'game' this is.
grr.. the supernatural pack only comes down to £10.19 ...

want to get thsi all for the mrs as surprise gift on pc im gettign her ... but its still expensive
does this work with a xbox pad btw ?

Assuming you don't want the stuff packs (they seem a bit of a waste to me, especially with the sim store or whatever they call it. A lot of content on there can be had for free) you can get The Sims 3 and all expansions apart from the upcoming University Life (which isn't out until March anyway) for £85.32.

There's a LOT of depth in Sims 3 with the expansions. Unlike the original game (not sure about the 2nd as I skipped that), there's no way to experience everything in just 1 or 2 generations. Before you know it you'll have a huge ancestry who then decide to come back as ghosts to haunt you for killing them in a burning mess of ovens and fireworks with lack of a door to escape...

I have a lot of these on Origin but I'm tempted to buy them on steam at this price... Much better store.

Not officially, no. May be able to set it up manually but I wouldn't recommend it - this game is much better with mouse+keyboard.

If I own the boxed copy of the game, can I get the addons off steam without having to purchase the main game again through steam and they work?

You can activate your disk copy on steam, then buy the add ons. That's the way I did it

Sims 3 Supernatural for £10.19 is a bargain too. Very addictive.

Oh and I think the Sims 3 is great, can't see why anyone would describe it as "dreadful". Its the best selling PC franchise in history for a reason.

X-factor is the biggest Saturday night TV program. That doesn't mean it's not a steaming turd.

"Everything I do (I do it for you)" by Bryan Adam's spent the most weeks at no1 in UK chart history. That doesn't mean't it's not a giant pile of donkey droppings.

No one pays extra to watch X-Factor on TV so its not comparable. It's free to watch that god-awful show... Don't know why they do. It also gets terrible reviews most places.
Your point about Everything I Do, is just Opinion, obviously many people liked the song. It's not like everybody thought it was crap and went out and bought it anyways. It's a matter of opinion.

People pay to buy the Sims because they like playing it and because reviews largely agree its a good game.
Fair enough if you don't like it, but the point is millions of people do like it. So much that it has sold more than any other PC franchise, and that was my point.

Ankoo! Really wanted this and at this price, super bargain
You can register your codes on ORIGIN too which is nice. I have the original on Origin the problem is STEAM wont let you buy expansions for a game you dont own original for on STEAM which sucks as I wanted to buy the discounted expansions and register them on ORIGIN :(.
Could someone help me about this as I'm not a gamer, never downloaded games
After downloading do I need internet connection to play with it or it will be stored on my hard drive and can play with it anytime, anywhere? Thanks
Torrent.(any) = free including all expansion packs
ohh, yes, its illegal. Police come and arrest you, lol.

Pirating it isn't worth the hassle when it's only £7.50

You'll be able to play these Sims, games once they are downloaded to your computer, without an internet connection. Some types of game might require a connection, but they will tell you in the requirements I think.
