If ever the term "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" applied to any group, The Smiths is it. Brilliant on their own, but sublime together. Morrissey and Marr what chemistry! Myself, I also think, that Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke never got the credit they deserved, as an outstanding, solid rhythm section, they allowed Marr and Morrissey to go off on musical tangents, while they held the plot together - can you imagine 'Some Girls' without that solid bass line? Top group!

I've got everything now..

Now showing as sold out. Bummer.

expired - heaven knows im miserable now

Haven't seen a smiths tribute band as yet, saw the Smiths 3 times during the eighties, and chase Moz around the country when he tours, but it'll be an experiance to check out one of the tributes and will do as I've heard they are very good

Yes, agree, Barbarism, nowhere fast, headmaster etc especially I'd say in the first couple of albums...oh why the feck can't they just put aside their diffrences and get back for just one album and a tour:roll:

Because on is a kn** and the other is a veggy Ar******.

No, seriously, I love them as Morrissey and as the Smiths in bygone years. I don't want to go back to 1984.

Remember Meat is Murder and watch the Animals' Film to see how we treat our fellow creatures.
