David Fincher’s The Social Network is the stunning tale of a new breed of cultural insurgent: a punk genius who sparked a revolution and changed the face of human interaction for a generation, and perhaps forever. Shot through with emotional brutality and unexpected humour, this superbly crafted film chronicles the formation of Facebook and the battles over ownership that followed upon the website’s unfathomable success. With a complex, incisive screenplay by Aaron Sorkin and a brilliant cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake, The Social Network bears witness to the birth of an idea that rewove the fabric of society even as it unravelled the friendship of its creators.

is it worth paying £7 more for a different box cover? Its not even as though this is a film anyone would ever watch twice.

gotta be a bit sad to buy hmv, game etc exclusives. they will never be worth what you initially pay out for them

each to their own I suppose.

Boring film about a boring subject imo. Kudos to the guy for making money off something that really adds nothing to the world though.

I thought it was extrermely dull & oberhyped too but can see why some may like it. Cant understand anyone who would want to watch it over again though

Indeed. I haven't seen it yet, and do want to, but I really can't see it being particularly worthy of multiple viewings.

I might just wait for the inevitable Film4 screening.

On the subject of price, it's not worth paying more than a fiver for any film. Ever. No exceptions.

I liked the film but I agree about watching again - however there are very few films I think are worth owning to watch again. Unless your talking about kids movies which the kids request multiple viewings of.
