Found 28th Nov
Ive just ordered one of these myself.

This is the Krup Sub Beer Tap - You put "Torps" in which are small 2 litre beer kegs and they require no priming so you get 4 pints out of each one.

The kegs are £7.99 each and are available in the following beers.

Heineken TORP

H41 Wild Lager TORP
Affligem TORP
Birra Moretti TORP

Brand Up TORP
Desperados TORP
Wieckse Witte TORP
Tiger TORP
Pelforth Blonde TORP

Hofbräu Kaltenhausen Gandolf IPA TORP

Cruzcampo TORP

Looks really good and getting good reviews in Germany and Belgium where it was first released.

Op is now busy cancelling his order before amazon quickly confirm it’s on route

Wish all the big gun craft brewers had torps for this or something similar, be the ultimate..

£2 average for a pint. Where's the economic sense in buying this?

I'd like to know how you get 4 pints out of 2 litres. Are you Jesus or summat?

I meant from the TORP. But you can prolly find a Wetherspoon's for £2 or less.

Fancy a pint in my locals it's £5 a pint.

Are there any that do 5 litres ? 2 litres seems a waste of time.

Ah...memories!

These prices just make me feel better about homebrewing; with the tesco misprice on kits I've still got about 50 or 60 500ml bottles of lovely IPA at around 7p a bottle (or maybe 10p after dry hopping), lovely stuff. Or my latest brew Tiny Rebel Cwtch about 65p each.

Seems like a good idea until you realise that you have to change the beer cartridge after every 3 pints - and if the cartridge isn’t exactly the right temperature; your pint will be 50% head...

Thinking the same .... 568ml x 4 = 2.27 litres!

We only went for those when our homebrew ran out. Malt, hops, yeast, water and anything else we could find, brewed up in a dustbin and bottled in flip-top Guinness bottles! Magic.

Good idea in theory, but from what I can see the only torps available are the Heineken rubbish at £45 for 19 pints?

amazon.co.uk/Hei…rps

So really cheap rubbish beer for £2/pint? It's cheaper than that in the pubs up this way, and not much more for decent beer!!

Bore off you beer snob if you think Heineken (brewed in the Netherlands and not under license in the UK like a lot of the foreign lagers) is rubbish.

I sometimes drink Heineken in bottles from Asda and they're normally 4 for £6 so the 2 litre Torps currently at £5.99 each direct are reasonably priced..

I'm no beer snob, but Heineken is pretty average tasting beer IMO.
