More than one roll worth as well. bargain!

If you're not bothered by equal rights
And laugh when folk say austerity bites
If you think the disabled are the pits
And view women as just two tits
If you think Murdoch's views are worth backing
And aren't bothered by a dead kid's hacking
Then buy The Sun and enjoy your stay
What are morals compared to a cheap holiday?

It's a deal for holiday
Not a deal for politics
To think of anything else
Just makes us all twits
Don't kid yourself
All the papers are the same
But I guess you have to find
Somewhere else to blame.

Which park did you get to ?

We tend to stick to haven parks not keen on the others find them a lot cleaner and better facilities been to Scarborough Reighton sands and Northumberland cant rember name but that was lovely. Went to park resorts at skip ski but that was terrible. We always go basic because we have a dog but never had a problem in haven.

Always good to hear how others got on. We went to Isle of Wight, Sea View last time. Actually got put in a chalet which was nice. Don't have any pets our selves, but I know a few folks that have had be careful when booking these holidays because not all parks take pets on board.

Park resorts - St Margaret's in Dover is absolutely lovely. Had a fab time there in September. I will say I did upgrade the caravan on the advice of others and it really was a lovely caravan.

The half-board options are pretty good value and you can get a possible to upgrade to silver on arrival.

Thanks OP. They are OK, these holidays.

Nice cheap mid term holiday!

Has anyone ever done a 4 night plus 3 night break to make a 7 night holiday? Wasn't sure if that would be 'allowed'?

Did it in the IoW last year, just let the park know your plans and you might even get away with a single service charge. The difficulty is making sure you can get the two holidays back to back, as you have to book them one after the other. I would suggest you keep two browse windows open so you can see if your dates are available back to back and them book them together..... Well that worked for me,

Can not see any obvious choices on the park list, noting around Reading or Bershire I know off.

You can't knock it really can you. As long as you don't expect too much you'll have a great time on these holidays.
Got a weekend and 3+4 night back to back holiday last year as well. Total cost £270.

yep, tbh i book a caravan just to use it as a base to do a bit of sea fishing, and as i have no kids i can make the most of these deals by going just before, and just after the main school summer holiday time

Hi.

Has anyone stayed at Haven Seashore in Gt Yarmouth or Golden Sands at Mablethorpe Lincs to be able to give a review of the parks?
I have a 2 year old so want a sandy beach and clean caravan is a must - with these two resorts you can upgrade. I was gutted because I really wanted to go to Hunstanton - not been there for years, but all 3 parks there don't allow for upgrades by the look of it and we really don't want one that's had who knows how many dogs all over it licking their bits lol.
We booked these Sun holidays last year - Doniford Bay Somerset - great park, entertainment and caravan was spotless. Beach was pretty inaccessible though as huge rocks and high tide but was a short drive to other resorts plus Minehead - brilliant.
Also went to California Cliffs Gt Yarmouth - good park although a bit tired, fair entertainment and great beach and short drive to Gt. Yarmouth and again spotless caravan.Plenty to do for families.
These holidays even with the supplements are so worth it - oh and we didn't bother with the entertainment passes or linen with both the holidays yet they were still included for free at both parks - even better!!

Bonus code: YEAR

Brilliant thanks OP!

Didn't bother with this last year but can't go another year without any Roary and Bradley. Got my priority booking form last week thanks in advance to the op and all the code contributers.

We stayed at Hunstanton Searles last oct half term. We were unable to upgrade which we were a bit concerned about, but the caravan we were given was clean, comfy and no dog smell. We had blow air heating, which kept the caravan warm we had friends that had also booked that stayed next to us, they had central heating in their caravan. We were located in a very quiet area of the park, and would definitely go back there at some point. We have also been to haven seashore, it's a great location right on the beach, but we went oct half term a few years back when it was really cold and wet, we upgraded our caravan was was lovely, and very close to Great Yarmouth. Personally I didn't like the layout of seashore, but that's just my opinion! We just love haven hopton!

I would check the park list in the first post. If you have an idea of where you want to get then you can get more information on the website. I know some Park Resorts sites have pet facilities and actually say 'you can bring your dog too'. Always worth phoning the park to confirm costs as well.
