Thanks for the heads up are you going to be putting the codes on here?
Thanks
Used this for the last 4 years running. Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall. Absolutely love it! We normally pay the upgrade fee too for a better caravan, it's definitely worth the extra £30-£50.
I think the Sun Plus members get priority and may even be able to choose dates during "6 week School Holiday"

That used to be the case but Sun+ membership has now changed, its no longer a monthly/quarterly fee, instead - you can gain access to Sun+ using codes from the newspaper, one code allows 24hr access to daily perks etc or 15 codes allows a months access to the full Sun+ site including competitions etc

Also, in the FAQ section it states:

"Do I need to collect tokens from the newspaper?

Yes, for the current offer you will need 10 tokens to complete your application. Tokens are being printed every day from Saturday, January 9 until Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in The Sun."

Oh, OK thanks for that... I don't buy the paper, I just signed up for a "Premium Account" last summer. They take £15 or £20 each quarter I think... I only signed up as the REP on the phone told me I would get priority access when booking... That was in August so things might of changed a bit... I do have access to a "Premium Perks" section but ain't much on there.

it does day the following:

PREMIUM SUN MEMBERS CAN BOOK IMMEDIATELY!

If you've collected 15 codes, you just need to click 'BOOK NOW' to choose your favourite park as soon as booking opens on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Can anyone confirm if you can book as far as the 6 week school holidays when bookings open in Jan?
(If not I can call them to check)
For anyone who's school holidays have fallen strange like ours at Easter check how much it is direct. My children are off Good Friday and Easter Monday, then go back to school until 8th April along with quite a lot of schools in our area. We booked a week in a prestige caravan for £230 at Wales hafan y mor (was £200 with health service discounts reduction). This worked out cheaper than booking 2 sun holidays to run together in the basic model would have been x

As a sun perks member and booked these hols several times in last year or so unless things have changed you get priority access for 24 hours before token holders etc can book but im sure all the dates ive checked dont cover half term breaks I recall checking a couple of months ago.

from their FAQ:

"When does the website open for booking?

The previous bookers’ site for the offer opens on Sunday, January 17, 2016.
The main booking site for the offer will open on Monday, January 18, 2016."

From that, i gather people who have booked previously with them get early access (24hrs) but not every Sun+ member (as not all Sun+ members have booked holidays before obviously). Further down in the FAQ it also states "If you have applied for a Sun Holiday within the last 2 years you are eligible to receive a Priority Application Brochure which will enable you to book as a priority customer."

Ha Ha. That's the only way they can sell the paper by offering cheap hols.

There's a group on Facebook always gave out the codes for free anyway. So you don't have to be stuck with halfheartedly buying this crap and then ending up with not enough tokens.
The holidays were never in half term time except a few which were snapped up. So useless exercise for many.

Do you know which FB page does this please?
We went last year in October to a haven site in Cornwall booked a deluxe and got upgraded to premium sea view which was fantastic!! Will definitely be doing it again this year! Ppl can moan about the sun but for a family of 4 trying to save for a mortgage deposit, £100 for a weeks holiday will do very nicely for us thanks for the heads up!!

Littlesea at Weymouth is a great site with buses to the town centre. Hendra is great for getting around Cornwall. We have never paid for entertainment at Littlesea but always been given the passes free.
We've been nearly every half term, but last round even with premium access we found there were no school hols dates. Instead we used the mail break free and got all the dates needed
Can you book exact dates or do you have to give a choice of say four dates and get allocated?
is there any good holiday parks that's good for entertainment and activities for young kids ? iv been to a few parks and they wasn't that good.

We've been to hafan y mor (Wales), primrose valley ( Filey) and Bideford bay (Devon) and enjoyed them all. We loved hafan y mor a lot so are going back in April but was cheaper to book direct fir that in a better grade accomodation x we've also been to Prestatyn (haven) and haggerston castle (haven) and didn't like them at all.

I can't remember as I don't have that Facebook profile anymore. But key in a few words like sun holidays and groups should come up.

The Facebook page posted up looks like the official Sun page. The page I belonged to gave the token codes.

Yeah that's the same thing
Have done the Sun Holidays for the last several year and each year the extras push the overall price higher. Not convinced the hassle justifies the saving..?
Does anyone have the codes at all or will there be a list on here at some point please

The codes come out daily in the sun, they are usually added to this thread.
