Or for people who can't otherwise afford a decent holiday this year. Cut out the class discrimination and let people enjoy a cheap holiday without being looked down upon by snobs.

ok if you can get kids out of school, title should say £60.00, thats the cheapest price possible, been few times newquay - good for the money.

If you want a cheap holiday, then CAMP!!!!

No need to mix with the type who read the SUN .... is all I'm saying - nothing Snobby at all ...

iv been on holidays a few times and have holidayed with people who have taken up these offers! some people give this offer a bad name as they totally trash the caravans and the last time i was away when people were taking these holiday a family caused chaos for the whole club house when they drank so much they all ended up fighting! i own a caravan and it is awful when a few silly people ruin it for others! this is sometimes the only way low income families can afford to holiday and its awful that it gets spoilt for them.

Does anyone know how to let them know about a change of address for the priority forms? The one from earlier this year went to my old address and my cheeky cousin who lives there now opened it and used it without asking me. I'd like to actually recieve this one.

It's nothing to do with class.

I have never used a Sun deal as it worked out cheaper for me to book direct with Haven, meaning I could get the date and park I definatly wanted plus a better caravan.
But as we are going to Tenerife this year my kids finally have their passports. So I am hoping for somewhere abroad.

Never realised making the effort and taking your kids on holiday even if its only Haven at least once a year is a Chavvy thing!! Maybe I should just go the whole hog, Give up my Job that I work around my husbands hours and kids, claim all sorts of benefits, then I will fit right in with a Sun holiday??

Having been to many Haven and Park Resort sites Parkdean is actually our favourite, maybe you have been to a dodgy site (not one I have been to as they have all been great). When we were in Devon last year we also went and had a look around Ruda as well, which looked very nice. I can highly recommend Challaborough Bay and Sea Acres - both sites are small, are in the middle of nowhere right on a beach with sea views, if you want a relaxing family holiday they are both great. Rock pooling on the beach and walking cliff walks. If you want loads of entertainment and hustle and bustle not so good. I have also been to Sandford a few years back which was fine at the time (but was still owned by Weststar).

Not snobby you say?

Nothing wrong with snobbery... it has run this country for years!

At most you'll find INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS, ENTERTAINMENT, LEISURE FACILITIES and super BARS and RESTAURANTS where you can treat yourself and up to seven others to a hol lotta fun. Great for a family break, chill time for grown ups or just a great way to get away at an unbelievable price. You can book either a three night weekend break, four night midweek or even a seven night break from just £15 per head based on four or more sharing.

All you need to treat yourself to a great holiday is SEVEN differently numbered tokens from those we will be printing in The Sun. You can take your holiday between May 30 and September 5, 2011.
Complete the booking form inside the eight page pullout on Wednesday, March 30, attach your tokens - and you'll soon be enjoying the holiday bargain of a lifetime.

We go on the Sun holidays, the kids use the pool and some of the activities and they think its great. We used to go into the club house when the children were small but they have out grown it now so we stay in or go for walks. For us its cheaper than a day out and childcare, so acts as an added extra to school holidays.
Some sites are horribile but you live & learn, some are very good. we went to Kent last year and just used the site as a base for London & went on the ferry for a pound to France, travel lodge £9 a room to break the journey.
We like to have as many holidays as we can and although we go abroard I also like my bargins too so this fits the bill for us. I am lucky enough to get pirorty booking so i don't need to go through the fuss of paper booking.
You can be who you want to be and if you don't like what you see walk away.

can be a rip off, check online etc at Haven direct as it can end up costing you just as much for a lower grade caravan once they charge for all your add ons like service charges and ent passes pppn

I got my booking form today, saying you can book from Thursday 31st March

Does anyone have a spare priority code please, as I haven't received one this year and I really would like to take the kids away. Thanks

And people like me who without them couldn't afford to take my kids away

Is todays code door ?

Tempting.. but I think i need an holiday abroad this year

Does anybody know today's code?

Something i`d like to look into,we`ve been going to Turkey,Spain and Cyprus over the years but since the birth of our daughter a couple of years ago we just can`t seem to afford to get away anywhere abroad.
How does the going abroad option work...do you just book the flights seperately for the dates you are given through Easyjet or Jet2 for example or do you have to use the Suns services.
Might sound like silly quesions but in the past we`ve just walked into a travel agents and Hey Presto, thanks for any advice.

By the way not a Chav...just a hard working bloke with 4 kids and a wife to support!

Often holiday in caravan parks, yet to use a newspaper special offer though

Will it be full of middle-class people with delusions of grandeur or is that just online? And would they be so rude in the flesh so to speak?

I think other people would prefer you did too

If any kind person has a spare priority code they'd like to pass onto to a deserving little boy, my little boy, Charlie, promises to send you a postcard to say thank you.

depending on if you wish to drive or not, there are options for cheaper ferry fares but they are not compulsory nor part of the pricing. I am taking my children to Italy again this year to much desired site, for 2 weeks of July, booked from the last sun holiday release in Jan, we just book out flights separate, please do bare in mind the days flights from your chosen airport fly or you could end up having to pay for another night to get a flight. Our holiday with flights 2 weeks comes to approx £600 which if taken at brochure price would be around 3K as each week is over £1k. as for those who feel they are better than a low cost holiday why are you even on hotukdeals isn't there a more upmarket pay through the nose snobbery site for your elite kind?

silly question but what are the dates or dont we know yet?

Says here - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/travel/sunholidays/article2062017.ece

"You can take your holiday between May 30 and September 5, 2011. The dates that each park is available is shown with the individual park listing."

Went to Butlins on last one, was expecting the bog standard accommodation but were given a gold apartment, were well pleased. Kids love it and have priority booking form so will go again, possibly to a cornwall or devon holiday place. Any recommendations?

I like the people who critic these holidays. It's funny how they be so knowledgable about how rubbish these places are, full of chavs when they proclaim to never go!!

I go every year and we pick a nice place with plenty to do around. We are out all day and just sleep there. It's a cheap way to enjoy the surround areas. Get off your high horses!!

after looking at the park listing a lot of the European ones are those with bookings left from the last run promo as out park is not on there. cant say about the uk ones though.

I had an email from The Sun the other day confirming I have been selected for a Priority Form and it is in the post as I have been on holiday with The Sun last year! Hopefully will be able to book a nice get-away at a reduced price!

They do have some that are abroad too....just means finding your flights and things - I was tempted to go for the overseas ones last time but am a bit of a chicken

Best to go for the foreign caravan sites. They don't charge for any facilities, they are simply superb and you get your kids to mix with campers and caravanner's from other many other European counties. I've booked a week in June in the Alps andit cost £200 including the ferry. The same holiday from the vendor is £500. This will be my 7th European holiday from the Sun. I only buy it for the hols!

who gives a monkeys ar**, I am taking my kids on holiday with them, to places I have been before, and my holidays coincide with the kids holidays too as I work in a nursery. I am not a chav, and definitely not a snob, I work hard to ensure that my kids get short but plenty of breaks thoughout the year. We have done the camping thing too, very brave I was and did it for a week, not keen on crickets in me tent though. So regardless of what kind of background you come from, these are ideal little holidays and mine will be topped up by staying in a premier in for the few days after my sun one has finished. All about saving the pennies these days, mind you with the cost of petrol atm I will be lucky to get there lol
