The author has done some decent work, some of the recipes are great, it's 99p, stop being a skank.

I couldn't find it. Just several scamming sites.

I'd be happy to pay 99p but I don't have this retailer anywhere near me

Thanks will have to have a look for this

All I see is a PDF preview of the first 30 pages.

I have this. Great book, worth every penny of the RRP, a steal at 99p.

Brilliant book, I have also bought a few as presents. Recipes easily adaptable to vegetarian too..

I bought this from the works a month or so ago, think I paid £2 - and was very happy at that price. For a pound, its an absolute bargain.

Got for Christmas. So far only done the sweet and sour chicken balls and they were great. Great price

If you search google you will find a full version. Iv just downloaded it. Dont think I can post the link on here. But if a mod says otherwise il be more than happy to post the link.

Managed to get it for 99p on Amazon when it was a deal of the day on Kindle. Interesting read, and still available on amazon if you don't have a works, though it's now dearer.

Defeats the point of getting a takeaway really.

A great book. I make the breakfast American pancakes every weekend. They take about 2 minutes to prepare and are the best I have ever had. The macaroni cheese, vanilla ice cream and chips are all perfect too.

How about you dont post the link, as said before, the author has put a lot of hard work into these recipes. If people want the book, they can buy it, its cheap enough

The Takeaway secret:
1. Cook a normal curry.
2. Add enough salt to keep the M25 free from ice for a day.
3. Add extra fat to the recipe until it's swimming in it.
4. Package in foil containers and write hieroglyphics on the lid to describe the contents.

Defo worth a few quid this book. Have already bought it cause of this site

If I wanted to just post the link I would of posted it!!! I was pointing out the fact that the FULL version can be download if people search for it where's others said they cant find it.

Agreed its cheap enough & like a previous post in this thread I dont have "the works" near me & last time I travelled to look for a in-store offer it was not there any way.

So please read again the part if a "mod" say's the link can be posted & then il post it. Until otherwise I wont be posting anything

Can't you get this delivered, by a maniac on a moped?

Where have you checked? Every store in the UK?

Smoking hot deal and excellent book BTW. Well worth the £4 I paid a while back, even better for 99p.

excellent book this. iknow the point of a takeawy is the ease of the process, but sometimes it's nice to create the end product yourself. works out cheaper too

i enjoy the kebab recipes and the big mac recipe works really well too. nice not to line the pockets of some of the multi-nationals too

I thought the ideal was for a take-away to taste as if it was home-cooked, not the other way around.

Great price, will have a check myself Heat added.

the cheese burgers were spot on

you do need a deep fat fryer for a lot of the things tho, which i haven't got or really want!

Surely take-away food is for the occasions when we can't be bothered to cook something decent? Why would anyone want to cook junk food at home???oO

Was just reading the thread on MSE about this book. Over 100 pages and some great reviews. Will definitely be heading in to town later to pick this up! Thanks OP!

try it, you might be surprised. there's loads of choice in there, i make the chicken kebabs and it's all fresh salad, chicken breast etc. you can use good quality produce with no unhealthy stuff

Why do the narrow minded constantly assume that people who enjoy take outs gorge on unhealthy junk all day every day. There is nothing wrong with junk food in moderate proportions do you expect us to eat salad and pumpkin seeds for the rest of our lives. God help us

This is one of the best cook books I own. The point of this book for me is to bring the the taste of some of my favourite restaurant food into my own kitchen.

Almost every recipe from this book has worked without fail and for those of you who believe its just burgers and kebabs well its not, there are salads, italian foods deli sandwiches etc.

If you have kids try the tortillas, they freeze very well and my little one loves them with cheese and ham and they taste much better than the supermarket ones.

This book is a must !

Does it tell you at the start of the book not to wash your hands, spit in the food, pick your nose and cough all over it? If not, then it wont taste like some of the takeaways I've had then.

I think you rather missed the joke - but if you need it explaining: I was implying that take away food is unhealthy, not that I didn't like it.

Hot deal in my book.

bought this and made the kebabs a couple of times, really nice (much nicer than a take-away to be honest but we probably used a lot better ingredients...)

eating

BOught this when it was 99p for the kindle, reat book, i've made a few of the tthings in it but the donner kebabs are so like the takeway, very nice

All the more reason to make it yourself at home where you know exactly what's going in it and you can cook it in a healthier way, use low-fat options etc. then?

Was just about to say something similar! Haha

What's the Takeaway Secret? Monosodium glutamate!

There, just saved you 99p!

I'm not assuming that all takeaway fans live on junk food, but if I want a takeaway I'll order one. My normal diet of course consists of nuts, seeds, high protein meat and only good starch foods
