sorted byI have 'copied' all my 4k movies to my NAS device and all play perfectly except this one because my network just cannot handle the huge bitrate of this movie. It stutters periodically because my network stream cannot keep up. The actual physical 4k Bluray plays fine when I put it in a 4k player.
huge bitrate = great quality picture and sound (usually)

If youre buying this intending to use the blu ray now and use the 4K later, buy the arrow version instead. That blu ray is based on the same/similar 4K scan. The enclosed 1080p blu is the old Universal scan and its dire. (edited)
If anyone hasn't seen Fortitude (3 Season tv series) I highly recommend this too. I love these types of movies, stuck in middle of nowhere and 'things' just happen!
Visually the best release of the movie, but there are fewer audio track options then on the arrow release so it's not definitive.
With the other carpenter films on 4k Shout Factory have released their own version with better audio options and authored on a higher capacity disc (higher bit rate so better picture quality even though the transfer is almost identical). If they do that with this that will be the version to get, but you won't be able to get it for this price. (edited)
