This extraordinary, magical novel is the story of Clare and Henry who have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was thirty-six, and were married when Clare was twenty-two and Henry thirty. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself pulled suddenly into his past or future. His disappearances are spontaneous and his experiences are alternately harrowing and amusing. The Time Traveler's Wife depicts the effects of time travel on Henry and Clare's passionate love for each other with grace and humour. Their struggle to lead normal lives in the face of a force they can neither prevent nor control is intensely moving and entirely unforgettable.

Probably the 2nd best book I have read after "The Testament of Gideon Mack"

I heard the film destoyed it, as always!

Tried to read this several time. There is a copy somewhere in Africa that I lost. Still not read it but did manage to see the film and can recommend it.

Great Book And Enjoyed The Film!

I want to see the film, am guessing the book is even better!

It's only £3.70 ish at ASDA
Also part of any 2 for £7

Great book.

good book, they missed loads out in the film

Was a long book though!I think did very well with film!

Loved the film, now I'm reading the book! Hopefully I'll find out why Clare didn't leave the shoe laces in the brown shoes for Henry?

Theres nothing about shoe laces in the book.

It is without doubt, in my opinion the best book ever, ive read it 7 or 8 times already, the film was decent, but you definetely enjoy it more if you have read the book, my daughter hated the movie, me and my wife both loved it.

Read the book twice, just finished it the other day and have no idea what you're referring to? Maybe thats a film only bit?

Incredible book, one of my all time favorite books and I am an avid reader. Don't let the time travelling bit in the title put you off.
