Nice thanks. I have a surface pro that’s about four years old and want to get something a little more up to date l. My surface pro has office on it (not 365) I bought the whole suite under an NHS home user scheme and paid something like £20 for it. Does anyone know if I could install stand alone office on this (not 365) and use my key (if I can find it) without going down the route of 365? Thanks

The nhs scheme forces you to use your own nhs.net account and I would not want my organisation being able to freely access my own personal files and device. Did you know that if you have outlook with nhs account on your phone, they can actually remotely wipe your phone. My colleague was having issue with his account and the nhs digital support remotely wiped his iPhone back to factory settings… Immediately deleted outlook from my phone after that.

622 and still no backlit keyboard!

Yes, it's very annoying, I am sure it's deliberate to separate it from the full-size one.

Expensive for what it is. Microsoft positioned it as a budget alternative to the big Surface Laptop but it feels a bit too cheap with the plastic base, isn't very durable, also missing the backlit keyboard and screen resolution is quite poor (it isn't far above HD). At this price only getting an i5 11th gen, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD seems poor value.

Sorry for the out of place question, but could anyone advise me on a laptop for an elderly friend? I'm looking at 4gb ram 128gb SSD upgradable machine, budget of around £200. Needs to be brand new though, could stretch to £250 max. Thank you.
