Will probably be free o ps+ at some point.

There's also a demo available on the store if you want to try before you buy.

Sounds like a barrel of laughs.

That’s what's said about every PS4 game deal that comes on this site. They are not all going to be free on PS plus and probably not anytime soon either given the rubbish we’ve seen so far since the launch of the PS4.

Since when was mental illness a good idea for the plot of a video game?

Hellblade - Shenhua's Sacrifice. Perfect example of how to create a masterpiece of a video game based on mental illness

Look, I don't know your background, but I know I've had to contend with anxiety problems these past few years and whilst making it public is helpful, recreating it as entertainment for the masses who don't understand what it's like (how can they without living it?), is just plain disrespectful in my opinion.

I think video games are exactly the perfect medium to describe/ visualise mental illness, It's one of the closest ways we have of interacting. We don't know what sources they have taken when they made this. Your are thinking that people are going to have a laugh and be entertained by the thought of playing as a person with mental illness, not true. I straight away think oh it's a good way to see possibly what it might be like to know what a person goes through. Putting myself in that person's shoes.

I'm thinking this follows games like heavy rain and beyond two souls in the way its played out.

May be worth a play before calling then out on it?

Edit: just checked a review, the game is a walking simulator of a real psychiatric hospital it seems:
