Hate to imagine how many times I watched this as a child. Soundtrack is awesome!

You got the touch...
Greatest film ever made (owned it from VHS to importing the enhanced blu ray a while ago)...bumblebee was close to getting back on track...

Fun fact : They added the word Sh*t to one line of dialogue to push the rating from U to PG so parents would have to accompany their children to the cinema, doubling the revenue.

I seen Bumblebee at the cinema, really enjoyed it and the soundtrack on that as well. Like you say good how they added the oldie in there

Megatron? Is that you...?!

I loved TF:TM as a kid (saw it at the cinema!), still love it, and now my son loves it too! Life is good!
Thanks @DealDroid
The Netflix show about Toys that made us - said that the major aim of this film was to introduce new toys and get rid of the old ones - thats why so many characters were killed off in the first 20mins. The crazy part was - I thought thats what made it awesome - I loved this film even without Optimus Prime - I did look up buying a Unicron Tony - £100 bit too steep for me.

Best film ever!!!
I loved this as a kid. Still do actually. That Prime/Megatron fight still packs a punch Dare and The Touch are fantastic tunes. And I still giggle ar how ridiculous the movie title sounds: The Transformers: The Movie, what a film.

edit to add: Rodimus Prime is also a fantastic character name

Same price at Amazon. And I got my purchase refunded as I was unhappy with the streaming quality but got to keep it too.
First film I cried at. Was gutted when Optimus Prime died.

I was more into Action Force than Transformers. They changed the Action Force (GI Joe) movie after the reaction to Prime being killed. Duke was or was spared death. Just read that it was his planned death that inspired them to kill off Optimus.
It’s a shame it’s only got the cropped widescreen version with no bonus features included that were on the Blu-ray.
I bought the Steelbook a little while back which included both the 4: 3 and widescreen versions and an iTunes copy.
Apart from the ratio the iTunes version does look pretty good.
Here’s a comparison between the full frame and widescreen versions.
