At £1.76 this game is an absolute no brainer for anyone remotely interested.

I'm playing through the Witcher 3 at the moment and actually missing this game a lot. While The Witcher 3 is really impressing me so far, it's suffering from a lot of issues that come with open world game like a lot of reuse of assets (animations, character and building models) and so sometimes is feeling a bit repetitive.

The Witcher 2 on the other hand having a much smaller size has much more variety to it. I remember playing it on release and to this day is still one of the few games in recent years where you could actually feel like it belonged on PC, and not a game that was intended for all systems (even though yes they butchered it for the 360 later on).
I wouldn't trust the site at all, after the first purchase they start phishing for personal details and claiming it's on behalf of paypal. After confirming with paypal they were fraudulently phishing for personal details and the transactions were cancelled as a precaution.

The game's been close enough to this price on steam and gog before, I would shop at a site that doesn't try to phish for details from customers holding their purchase at ransom, or delete their message history when they are caught lying to customers.

Funny enough I bought a steam code off Kinguin for this for about £2.50 code came instantly and worked

Cheaper at G2a.com …Cheaper at G2a.com https://www.g2a.com/en-gb/the-witcher-2-assassins-of-kings-enhanced-edition-gogcom-key-global-i10000004554003

But that's for GOG and not Steam. Not the end of the world I know, but I have enough to do without maintaining multiple gaming blobs on my PC

This one’s steam platform and cheaper? Not sure if it adds fees at checkout though.

Witcher 2 Steam G2G
Tried to make a purchase off the site yesterday and my code was invalid. IG said they cancelled it for some security reasons and asked me to provide a photo of my ID next to their logo. Probably harmless but I haven't had to do it for any other site so I wasn't doing it for them - refund was issued quick enough.

Might not be the case for everyone but just a heads up.

with phishing scams like this the target would be a small percent of the users such as 5% so that reviews look good, I was targeted though so I can't shop there.

Kinguin and G2A are a different kettle of fish altogether, there the risk is a large proportion of codes sold there are bought with stolen credit cards then sold onto consumers, the credit card transactions take up to 100 days to cancel where the sites the keys were originally bought from will then catch up and cancel the transaction and that eventually leads to the steam key (or origin, uplay gog etc.) being reclaimed and the game you paid for vanishes from the library, usually about 6 months later when nothing can be done. or if you really messed up about buy something on psn or xbox live, you loose your whole account, because those two companies don't care if you are innocent, there was fraud tied to your account so it gets deleted.

You can tell G2A and Kinguin are scam sites due to the "insurance" offered, imagine going up to a real store and they offer you an extra fee just in the event that the thing you bought later vanishes. Where as any other store would replace things for free, because other stores don't knowingly sell stolen keys and have to charge extra money to deal with them being reclaimed.
I'm looking to read the books soon, with a view to play W2 and W3 after.

Used both a few times and never had an issue. None of the games have been revoked.

Honestly wouldn't be bothered if I did since they cost £3 at most and once I've completed a game I'm usually done with it. Only games I really purchase off them are indie titles or titles that are 3+ old.

Well Lets hope I complete the game before this happens😄
I purchased this from instant gaming yesterday. The code did not work, said it had been used by a different account. I contacted them, they said something about a fault with their systems and provided a working code.

Did you talk to IG about this? This is what it says when you try and check out with paypal:

"For your first purchase with PayPal, you will be asked for an identity check for security reasons."

I did mention contacting them about it I thought, they deleted their messages when they gave me misinformation and later claimed they were working on behalf of paypal and were required to do it, which paypal have never asked of their vendors and they are acting entirely outside the guidelines of paypal, who agreed the behavior is suspicious and potentially fraudulent and agreed to refund the two purchases I had made there based on the activity described - specifically pretending they work for paypal and the editing of their own messages and deleting history.
