The Witcher 3 Game Features:

Play as a Highly Trained Monster Slayer for Hire Trained from early childhood and mutated to gain superhuman skills, strength and reflexes, witchers are a distrusted counterbalance to the monster-infested world in which they live. Gruesomely destroy foes as a professional monster hunter armed with a range of upgradeable weapons, mutating potions and combat magic. Hunt down a wide variety of exotic monsters from savage beasts prowling the mountain passes to cunning supernatural predators lurking in the shadows of densely populated towns. Invest your rewards to upgrade your weaponry and buy custom armour, or spend them away in horse races, card games, fist fighting, and other pleasures the night brings.
Explore a Morally Indifferent Fantasy Open World Built for endless adventure, the massive open world of The Witcher sets new standards in terms of size, depth and complexity. Traverse a fantastical open world: explore forgotten ruins, caves and shipwrecks, trade with merchants and dwarven smiths in cities, and hunt across the open plains, mountains and seas. Deal with treasonous generals, devious witches and corrupt royalty to provide dark and dangerous services. Make choices that go beyond good & evil, and face their far reaching consequences.
Chase Down the Child of Prophecy Take on the most import ant contract to track down the child of prophecy, a key to save or destroy this world. In times of war, chase down the child of prophecy, a living weapon of power, foretold by ancient elven legends. Struggle ferocious rulers, spirits of the wilds and even a threat from beyond the veil -- all hell-bent on controlling this world. Define your destiny in a world that may not be worth saving.
Fully Realized Next Generation Built exclusively for next generation hardware, the REDengine 3 renders the world of The Witcher visually nuanced and organic, a real true to life fantasy. Dynamic weather systems and day/night cycles affect how the citizens of the towns and the monsters of the wilds behave. Rich with storyline choices in both main and subplots, this grand open world is influenced by the player unlike ever before.

Decent flash deal price for those who were patient enough to wait and from a respected retailer too
Think I've forked out around 62 quid in total on the game and two expansions, (one with a gwent deck)
Heat given

Not save compatible with standard edition = epic fail.

i believe there will be a patch for a fix

Can't wait to play this again with all the expansions when I rebuild my PC and get a 4K OLED TV. Gonna be orgasmic. Definitely among the best games I've ever played.

Hot! but i dont think this is a flash deal just the standard price. it might be worth waiting toward payday as they usually offer a 10% off code

also if it's your bag this will have an entirely separate achievement/trophy list

I have bought two pre order games from GameCollection now. I was a bit sceptical about them at first because I hadn't bought anything from them before. But I got one 2 days early, the other a day early. Very good company. I may have to bite at this price. Never played it before. But I have always wanted to.

Would anyone recommend it for a fan of Dark Souls. Whats the combat like. I hear it's a bit different.

I would watch a review. But Gamespot, IGN and others are almost always laden with spoilers.

best game ever made, bargain at this price

They said there's no workaround as they're classed as two different games.

CD Keys: £22 for PC!

(And you'll get more than 20/30fps!)

I like the souls games and liked this, but they are quite different so liking one won't mean you like the other. The combat reminds me more of the Batman games than the souls ones and gets pretty easy once you have a few levels to invest in the skill trees. Best I can do is say if you liked games like Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma you will probably like this.

cheers man. im a fan of Skyrim. just not the combat. feels like im swinging at nothing half the time. i also liked Dragons Dogma quite a bit. just didn't like how I needed to be a certain class to roll. but I've seen that this isn't the case with the Witcher.

I'm gonna order it. got some points to spend as well. so can get another quid off. 'appy days.

Just finished the expansions, they're amazing! Definitely as good, if not better than the main game. Blood and Wine feels like a whole new game.

Skyrim is a piece of crap compared to this, especially in the combat. Compared to Bloodborne, the combat in this is a bit slower and doesn't feel as crisp or fluid but it's still very good. I've only played Dark Souls 2 on current gen and the combat in here is much better than that.

there wont because they have to register it as a separate game and they said this is the reason you can use old save files

I believe Bloodborne and the Souls games have properly ruined some games for me. The combat in them games are perfect for me. I tried playing Dragon Age Inquisition. and all you do is hold down R2 or whatever. it feels like I'm not doing anything. But yeah. Looking forward to this now.

Hope you enjoy it, you could easily spend a couple of hundred hours on it if you do.

Has anyone had theirs dispatch yet? I'm assuming they're going to dispatch them early because of the Bank Holiday Monday day before release.

I wouldn't say it'd be delivered a day early.
Today's Saturday, it's gonna be processed by Royal Mail tonight and tomorrow. Bank Holiday is on Monday so no Post. So you'll get it on release day.

arghhh! I totally forgot about Bank Holiday Monday. Yeah probably not then. I usually get all my game collection orders at least a day early. But not this time.

Okay, remind me to never preorder from The Game Collection again.

Contacted them on twitter and they said it'd arrive guaranteed for release day. Today is release day and it wasn't delivered. Kind of disappointing.

Im guessing it was because of bank holiday weekend. I got all my other orders a day and two before release date. Rather annoyed though. Was looking forward to playing it.
