Absolutely fantastic game. Do yourself a favour and play it on any other platform for 2 reasons.

1. It looks woeful on the Switch. It's fantastic that a game like this is even on handheld but it comes at a huge prettiness cost.
2. This is a deal at £35. You can get this on PS4/PC at the moment for about a tenner. Switch tax is a huge premium.

If Switch is the only platform you have or will have for the next while, I'd recommend getting this game.
I will be buying the Switch version so I can play on the move.
I get that you could use PS4 Remote Play, but that relies on strong network/wifi connectivity.

Seconded. Just played it and both dlc on PS4 pro for £15. Blood and wine is one of the best dlc I have ever played
Don't toss a coin to this Witcher; Oh valley of expensive...

It’s not that bad - of course it’s worse than on the pro but playing it on the toilet?! Yeah
Toss three thousand four hundred and nintey nine coins to your Witcher!!

In handheld it looks fine, certainly not 'woeful'
I started my W3 journey on the Switch, it sold the Lite to me. Turns out I found the game cramped and a bit jerky on NSW (I tried on the original Switch but not much better) and ended up buying an Xbox One X to play this game. It is the only game that the X has ever played 3 months later. It is fantastic. I am tempted to pick it up again once my first full playthrough is over.

Already had my Mario Maker 2 deal removed earlier because of it being posted already in that deal. So see if anymore gets removed for the same reason.
1 pound per pixel on screen I see
Switch tax needs to go. This was a tenner on steam the other week
I really struggle to enjoy this game(yes I know I'm in the minority), I just don't understand the mass appeal, and it's soo clunky. Heat anyway
£30 on the switch if you use norway shop
Great game, shame about the Switch tax.

I'm the same all my mates think I'm mad, just glad I didn't pay £34.99 for it.
It’s not a switch tax - it’s new to system and has had to have significant work done to make it happen.

You can’t compare the price with other systems where it has been out on for years!

It took me 3 attempts to get into this game so I know your struggle. Eventually it just really hooked me though, the storytelling is fantastic
I have been playing the switch version since it came out back in November and its honestly so great. I did previously play it on ps4 and this is far and away the worst place to play it. but since my son being born back in July the switch is my go to console for ease of use. Would highly recommend to anyone in a similar situation.
Iv played the ps4 version great game hours of game play just with the story quest only downside for me is the bug they never got round to fixing
This or Skyrim? I read a game review comparison that still rated Skyrim the better game.

This 100%. Skyrim pales in comparison
I bought this for the Switch. It’s incredible that the game runs at all, however the graphical quality isn’t the best. As it’s the first time I’m playing it through, I’m playing on the PS4 instead.

indont buy the whole “switch tax” on this game though. It’s a brand new port and can hardly have been an easy job.
Combat is really bad, Lots of filler fetch quests

Personally, I think I enjoyed Skyrim more. Sunk so many hours into that game, and I'm currently playing Witcher 3 XBX. I'm not sure why - witcher 3 is a Ps4 era game, with better structure and story, and its massive - but I enjoyed traversing the world of Skyrim more, even though it's a generation older (originally released for PS3 generation).

I played first Skyrim then Witcher. I think Witcher is more engaging. I will go back to Skyrim when i finish Witcher. Skyrim is more like a sandbox, whilst Witcher is more story driven. Both open worlds. Witcher is more interesting overall.

Thanks. I prefer sandbox to story driven as I like just running about doing my own stuff and i've played Skyrim on the xbox and pc a lot years ago so know what i'd be doing on it if I got it on the Switch.

You get to do all this in Witcher and the world is in fact 3.5 times bigger than Skyrim. There is tons of exploring and side quests and they are very different and interesting. Witcher is like Skyrim but more content (story, main character).
OK thanks. Is Witcher better graphically on the switch?
Really want this and gutted I didn't buy it last year when it was around £35 physical.

Not sure whether to buy digital and a 32gb memory card for £8 or pay a couple of quid more for a physical copy from Argos
They've just added cross save with steam and gog so you can have the best of both at a price.
