If you add the promo code WELCOME Instead of CRAFT20 on the Eurofighter kit above, you will receive Free Delivery and get the kit for £10 instead of £10.99 saving you 99p, making it a better deal than the one above;)

Was hoping someone could help me out, I've been looking at getting into these but wasn't sure if they come with the required glue etc? If I were to buy this, what additional stuff would I need? Thank you

I've not made one for years, but assuming they're still roughly as they used to be, you need to buy a tube of polystyrene cement to stick it together, and some acrylic or enamel paints to finish (plus perhaps a craft knife and sanding pad or nail file for smoothing off any rough edges or glue excess, rubber bands to temporarily hold parts together whilst glue sets etc). I know you can buy kits from Airfix with paints etc. included if you wanted to try one to start off with.
I'm looking for SU-57 model, anyone knows a good deal on that?

Superglue is good for the less patient. Last kit my boy had came with paints that seemed to be water based. Went on well and were thinner than the enamel paints I used as a child, so didn't fill in all the surface detail. Anybody know the skinny on this?...surely only works on certain plastics?
Edit: don't give the superglue to your children tho... Had to say it...there's always somebody that stupid

I use Tamiya extra thin cement, which wicks between the mating surfaces and avoids the splodge clean up using the tube cements I was used to as a kid.

I wider if that was the stuff I moved on to...came in a bottle with a brush attached to the be inside of the lid...the liquid was really thin. for some reason I felt it wasn't glue, but melted the 2 pieces together . I don't think superglue was a thing back then.

Haha brilliant, good luck! P.s can’t believe my comment didn’t get more likes, it’s a better deal than the one above haha(lol)
This is cheap but it's so expensive to get the sound effects, 10 honey badgers, 50 Tasmanian devils, Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury all having a scrap sounds like a wet fart compared to the sonic decimation this plane makes, fortunately it's not a stealth fighter because as soon as one takes off every country can hear it coming.

yeah, this sounds familiar. 'welds' bits together... with VERY short 'bodgitaround' time

weren't these the ones made of cardboard at Farnboro' air shows in its troubled gestation - which was why no flying examples for YEARS
Deluxe Materials Roket superglue range is superb, with a range to cover all bases with curing time, viscosity and gap filling options.
