For Gary King (Simon Pegg) and Andy Knightley (Nick Frost) it was supposed to be the ultimate reunion - one night, five friends, twelve bars. A boozy quest to ‘The World's End’ pub on which only the strongest will survive. Having the time of their lives, they’re ready to take on the world ... but tonight they might just have to save it. From Edgar Wright, Director of ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Hot Fuzz’, comes a wildly entertaining thrill ride of outrageous humour and explosive action that will raise a glass to the apocalypse.

completely agree with you

Maybe better to get this as part of the trilogy boxset? If you get this, then it's pretty much mandatory to get the first two (since they are infinitely better).

Cornetto trilogy

I stand corrected, well kind of, not really. It's a boxset set of the director/actors films

What do you mean "not really"? It's called a trilogy by the makers! Each one features a Cornetto of different flavour, Strawberry (red for blood), Original (blue for police), and Mint (green for aliens).

There could be yellow and pink in there it doesn't change the fact that these films are not a trilogy

whaaaaaat....how is it not a trilogy?
Ok, first line from Wikipedia: "A trilogy is a set of three works of art that are connected, and that can be seen either as a single work or as three individual works.".

Even though it is a trilogy I think most people see a trilogy as having the same characters or a much closer connection than the fact each film contains a Cornetto. I've always liked the term though.

I agree, trilogies shouldn't be anything to do with ice cream!

Besides wedding movie, this is one of the worst films I've seen in recent memory.

Great nostalgic packed film (Obviously minus a key theme later on that appears haha) and I loved the film!!

Do agree though it does decline a bit when they go toilet...
