David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as Agents Mulder and Scully in director Chris Carter's cut of this supernatural thriller. The film begins with the mysterious disappearance of a group of women in Virginia. The FBI calls Mulder and Scully back to duty to investigate and they are led to a priest, Father Joseph Crissman (Billy Connolly), who is having strange visions. Father Crissman's unusual apparitions subsequently lead Mulder and Scully to a bizarre secret medical experiment which may have a connection with the women's disappearance.

Good price but still 2 hours of my life I'm never gonna get back...and I'm a fan!!!!

Shame on you Chris Carter

wasted my money and time as well on this garbage. 'can't believe it's not x-files', applies to this film kept seeing scully as Ex Mrs heather mills mccartney as well! she looked really similar! imagine seeing her grizzled face that size for ages... where were the aliens etc., poor show all round. wouldn't waste more money on this tat, annyoed i've actually spent time commenting.

On Sky Movies in August for those that have it.

Good price - but lousy film. Carter, Duchovny and Anderson should hang their heads in shame.

Good price, but the film is a real stinker.

Considering its roughly the same price as a Blockbuster rental, I'd still say rent it...

...Just so you can give it back afterwards!!

This movie was utter sh1te. Chris Carter is a t0sser.

I was very dissapointed after having watched this movie.I would not recommend to anyone.

As a huge X Files fan, not only was the film a huge disappointment, it seemed unneccessary too..either resurrect a franchise or leave it, to have the film as a none entity of a one off case for Mulder & Scully was really pointless, as a murder mystery film it was average at best.

Good price, and a must own for X Files completists like myself (even if I never sit through it again) for anyone else, there are better murder mystery suspense thrillers out there!

Money would have been far, far better spent with Chris Carter resurrecting Millennium as a film instead to give that series proper closure.

Me and the missus (both big X-Philes) thought it was fab!!

Me and the missus (both big X-Philes) thought it was fab!!

We all loved it here too, think it was because they didn't do the usual alien thing as was expected by most people. Horses for courses I guess.

Me and my missus both huge x-files fans, and we both both laughed at how crap this film really was! Please mr Carter, don't make a third one, or is that turd one! If you need to see it, wait till it comes out on terrestrial tv. (imho)

Dire film.

You know the film's bad when the guy in the row ahead of you is snoring :P
As everyone else says, waste of 2 hours of my life... surprised no human heads on dogs...

Carter's making a third X-Files film:

X-Files: I want my two hours back.
