thanks - off to bed now ... ...

Hard to believe now they are all in their 50's.

when funny was funny,,,

Introduced my 14 year-old son to this a few weeks back ... he's been watching them almost non-stop since then! (N.b. this qualifies as "local history" as we live just down the road from the Kebab and Calculator aka The Westbury Park tavern so its fun trying to spot the local sights as all the outdoor scenes were shot around Westbury Park/Redland in Bristol!)

Interestingly last week in Alan Davies' teenage rebellion he mentioned The Young Ones and how teenagers like him recorded it on the new fangled VCRs and then watched it non-stop ... so teenagers never change

Yeah my neighbor, his parents wouldn't let him stay up to watch the young ones, he had to record it on his betamax VCR, then he would get up earlier than usual so he could watch before school, everyone was talking about it the day after it had been on TV, when there was only 3 channels broadcasting

Have we got a video?

Yes we've got a VIDEO!!.
My 15 year old loves this-watches it all the time.
Voted hot.

Awesome show one of the most important shows of the day. Are these the original uncut ones some of the DVDs had the music removed due to copyright reasons

What is on the third DVD? I have both series individually on one disk a piece, so are there extras with the box set?

I had a three DVD set from the USA back when you could only get series one over here (WTF was that about, it was a british show!). The third disc was episode 1 of Bottom, episode 1 of Filthy Rich and Catflap and something else I can't remember at the moment. Might have had the Cliff Richard vid on it too. A mate borrowed it about 8 years ago and I've not seen it since

Answered my own Q, yes they're uncut as for the 3rd disc it's a documentary

Also available for £9.99 at Play.com
