That's pretty sneaky. I'm pretty sure I didn't tick any box to say I agreed with the T&C's and I think if they tried to enforce that from section 23 in a non-obvious T&C link on the website, they'd fall foul of the unfair contracts act. It's very clear that they're offering 6 issues for a certain price, there's no indication at all that it's a minimum 12 month period.

I found this offer the day it went live at …I found this offer the day it went live at https://www.whathifi.com/news/save-over-50-what-hi-fi-plus-free-five-star-wireless-speakerI too have had the cancellation email. In my opinion they had no intention of honouring anyone's subscription or supplying the speakers and have just used it to collect people's personal details in order to send marketing material.I have challenged them on Twitter and via email to ask how many speakers they had to send out. They dodged the question on Twitter and just replied 'It wasn't a scam but stocks were limited as mentioned in Ts and Cs. It was very popular - sorry!'The terms did state that if they ran out of speakers they could substitute the gift with something of equal value but it doesn't look like anyone will be getting a speaker.i am still receiving emails from What Hi Fi advertising the magazine and pestering me to re-subscribe so I have filled a complaint with the ASA detailing my issues with this promotion and the fact they've cancelled yet are continuing to spam me, it won't get you the speaker but I suggest others do the same. Normally I wouldn't bother but I certainly don't agree with setting Direct Debits up on people's bank accounts and collecting personal data without any intention of providing what was advertised. You can start a complaint at www.asa.org.uk

If I remember correctly you had the option to opt out of promotional emails etc, which I seem to remember is what I did, hence haven't had any more emails from them since I cancelled my subscription/direct debit!

It's a rubbish mag that is full of paid-reviews.

I read it for free sometimes when I've time to waste. It's okay for finding out about new things that are being released, but that's about it.

One of the reviews on Amazon says a reviewer purchased the red one for just £24.

It was also sold at £40 here - morgancomputers.co.uk/pro…sh/ (Out of stock now though).

Don't believe Amazon's £102 price point it seems..

I'd be on this if it was rechargeable though.

Mine arrived today - about an hour before the magnificent spectacle that is England v Costa Rica. Hopefully you should get yours soon.

I'm the same mate - got an email saying the shirt must have got lost in transit and they will send another - load of rubbish. What does the small print say? There seems to be quite a lot of people in the same boat here.

I feel you Sam, it's a joke. I tried looking for delivery information when I ordered but found nothing. Useless customer service.

I feel you Sam, it's a joke. I tried looking for delivery information when I ordered but found nothing. Useless customer service.

I phoned yesterday and said that it is not very good that the shirts will non not be delivered until up to 28 days after 7th June, especially as I placed my order in the first week of May. I never take out subscriptions and only did so to get the shirt for the World Cup. I wish I had ordered from sports direct and paid £24.99 for it now, at least I wouldn't have to go to the pub topless again tomorrow!

All the lady on the phone could say was 'you should have checked the small print'. Legally correct, morally not.

Agree with the above, this is a great offer but it's very poorly advertised.

I'm not doubting you ButtonUp, but it seems rather strange of the publishers not to state that it is the Senna movie and/or not to include a picture of the DVD. I can understand not including a picture as that would require copyright permission but nothing can stop a publisher writing that they are giving away the Senna movie. Further, one would surmise that this promotion involves the producers behind the Senna movie and as such they would surely grant rights to show a picture of the movie? IF this promotion includes the Senna movie then I think that apart from anything else here, their marketing team are nothing short of feckless. They obviously have no idea how to market a promotion. It's not like they're trying to launch a new brand, product, range etc. It's a 'freebie' to try and entice new buyers toward their product. That being the case, it might possibly have been an idea to mention the words Senna 'MOVIE' and possibly even show a picture of the DVD case. ANYONE who's into motor sport will recognise that DVD case in an instant. It would draw attention to motor sport enthusiasts (the people one assumes that AUTOSPORT is trying to sell to?!?!?). The DVD (for me), is the one thing (if it is indeed the Senna Movie), that is driving (excuse the pun), this promotion and yet it is the one thing they've failed to make a big deal of! That aside, they haven't even made a big deal of the £1 promotion! When you visit that site it should be jumping out at you that you can get 6 issues for a quid. Yeah it's there but it's not exactly jumping out of the page demanding to be read. This IS a great deal, Senna movie or not but I fail to see how the laissez-faire approach to marketing hasn't killed this title. I'm no Marketer but it's not difficult...

Their professional marketing team offering...

My quick 5 minute photoshop go...

http://i.minus.com/jrwLWICojWW73.jpg

I would have included 6 issues of the magazine (as per the promotion), but just wanted to show what was achievable by changing the wording and adding the picture of the DVD.

I signed up for this yesterday, the offer was in the magazine. It's for tdffashion.co.uk. It says in the small print that you receive a £100 voucher in the post for spending on tshirts from their website, and it says they may be the same or different but to the same value as the ones shown in the picture. Not sure how it's going to work, because if they just give me a £100 voucher for the use of tshirts on their website, i'd buy 5 fred perry tshirts at 20 quid each, not the **** henleys ones that are advertised in Stuff magazine.

How stupid are the publishers of Stuff? You're never going to get people interested if you don't tell people the full details of the offer. My only thought is that the they are terrible t-shirts and they don't want to tell you.
