gazzjenks, is there any chance that you could repost your post on here with my photo of the speaker just to prove to all the doubters on here that this deal you posted wasn't a duff deal after all? Just to let you know the main reason I got my speaker was because like you I phoned my order through, did you get your speaker?8)

Just to prove to all the doubters and haters on here, I can confirm that gazzjenks is not lying as I received my speaker in the post yesterday, I hope others get there's too 8)

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thank you for your recent subscription order to What Hi-Fi? magazine. This was a limited offer and unfortunately, due to the significantly high demand for the free Jam Heavy Metal speaker, we have now run out of stock and cannot send you the free gift. We have therefore not processed your order - so you have not been charged and no payment will be deducted from your account.

I never said you were lying! I've just tried the two versions of the code in upper and lower case on every available format/subscription for what HiFi, all said invalid Code!

Don't bother, just check the previous thread not one person after going over 1000 degrees reported receiving the speaker. Also some staff are clearly incompetent, you are the one who will have to deal with getting things cancelled and deal with cold calls and marketing spam after.

Got mine too. Took a bit longer than expected, but when I called them they said they'd had to order a load more.

I got my speaker today. Thank you to the original poster.

They do say that gifts take "up to 35 days". I assume they wait until after the 30 day cancellation period before sending them out - which makes sense. We're still within the 30 days so I'm not panicing. The fact that other people's were cancelled suggests I got in in time, so I'm quite hopeful I will actually get one.

Ouch I checked the signup page a week last monday it said cancelled. So i contacted them to enquire if I was still getting thespeaker, I received a reply a few days later ''Dear Subscriber, Thank you for your recent email. I am sorry to advise that due to an overwhelming amount of orders to this offer, we are unable to for fil this gift offer. I can confirm that due to this your subscription has been cancelled with imediate effect. Further communication from the publisher is in the process of being sent to you regarding this matter. Thank you for your patience and I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. If there is anything else that I can help you with please don’t hesitate to contact me. For and on behalf of What Hi-Fi Grace Hawes Email Customer Services'' So I would get in touch with them to see why you have received your magazine.

Givem a ring ,once you've given your details I'm sure they will be able to confirm when they will send you speaker!

I have never had a problem with Haymarket

Went for one of these "free gift on subscription" type deals, I think for Stuff magazine, but could have been T3 or something. Anyway, they took the first instalment from my bank and then told me they had run out of the advertised gift (I forget what it was, but I wanted it enough to subscribe) and instead sent me a "gift of equal value." This turned out to be some crappy vouchers for a few quid off of flights to places I didn't want to go. Now maybe I was just unlucky, but just be aware.....

Is not **** free then isn't it?

I carry this. quite small/neat/handy.

it is quite small, perfect for on a set of keys though.

Fyi- tool is actually quite small. About the size of a car key some people are saying in reviews. Worth bearing in mind that it is not a "full sized" multi tool.

Dude this is the Style CS by Leatherman.

Just got the same email also - I bet everyone who signed up will have not received the book and had that email!

Just got the following email which would explain why some people haven't received it "Dear valued reader, Thanks for your interest in claiming a free copy of the ‘Lunches with Legends’ book by Maurice Hamilton. Unfortunately, due to the huge demand for this popular offer, our supply of books has been exhausted. As stated in the terms and conditions, the offer was subject to availability, and on this occasion we will be unable to supply you with a copy of the book. Because we value your continued support, and wouldn’t want you to miss out on reading Maurice Hamilton’s interviews, we have made special arrangements and are pleased to offer you a free digital copy of ‘Lunches with Legends’ in PDF format. You can download the PDF here, and read at your leisure on your PC or other digital device. We hope you enjoy reading your digital copy of ‘Lunches with Legends’, and thank you for your continued support of F1 Racing. Yours faithfully, The F1 Racing team"

Heat added I like the mag and have subbed now as the deal looks excellent Cheers OP

Advertisement rich as any lifestyle magazine.

It's a rubbish mag that is full of paid-reviews. I read it for free sometimes when I've time to waste. It's okay for finding out about new things that are being released, but that's about it.

One of the reviews on Amazon says a reviewer purchased the red one for just £24. It was also sold at £40 here - (Out of stock now though). Don't believe Amazon's £102 price point it seems.. I'd be on this if it was rechargeable though.

Mine arrived today - about an hour before the magnificent spectacle that is England v Costa Rica. Hopefully you should get yours soon.

I'm the same mate - got an email saying the shirt must have got lost in transit and they will send another - load of rubbish. What does the small print say? There seems to be quite a lot of people in the same boat here.

I feel you Sam, it's a joke. I tried looking for delivery information when I ordered but found nothing. Useless customer service.

I feel you Sam, it's a joke. I tried looking for delivery information when I ordered but found nothing. Useless customer service.

I phoned yesterday and said that it is not very good that the shirts will non not be delivered until up to 28 days after 7th June, especially as I placed my order in the first week of May. I never take out subscriptions and only did so to get the shirt for the World Cup. I wish I had ordered from sports direct and paid £24.99 for it now, at least I wouldn't have to go to the pub topless again tomorrow! All the lady on the phone could say was 'you should have checked the small print'. Legally correct, morally not.

Thanks edwin although why they couldn't just say the Senna 'MOVIE' I have no idea.

Got this today. 'Thank you for your recent reply regarding Autosport. We are happy to confirm the DVD offered as a free gift with this subscription is the Senna DVD which was on at cinema's. If we can be of further assistance please contact us. Kind Regards Liam Lewry Email Response Team Haymarket magazines T: +44(0) 1795 414 608' Agree with the above, this is a great offer but it's very poorly advertised.

I'm not doubting you ButtonUp, but it seems rather strange of the publishers not to state that it is the Senna movie and/or not to include a picture of the DVD. I can understand not including a picture as that would require copyright permission but nothing can stop a publisher writing that they are giving away the Senna movie. Further, one would surmise that this promotion involves the producers behind the Senna movie and as such they would surely grant rights to show a picture of the movie? IF this promotion includes the Senna movie then I think that apart from anything else here, their marketing team are nothing short of feckless. They obviously have no idea how to market a promotion. It's not like they're trying to launch a new brand, product, range etc. It's a 'freebie' to try and entice new buyers toward their product. That being the case, it might possibly have been an idea to mention the words Senna 'MOVIE' and possibly even show a picture of the DVD case. ANYONE who's into motor sport will recognise that DVD case in an instant. It would draw attention to motor sport enthusiasts (the people one assumes that AUTOSPORT is trying to sell to?!?!?). The DVD (for me), is the one thing (if it is indeed the Senna Movie), that is driving (excuse the pun), this promotion and yet it is the one thing they've failed to make a big deal of! That aside, they haven't even made a big deal of the £1 promotion! When you visit that site it should be jumping out at you that you can get 6 issues for a quid. Yeah it's there but it's not exactly jumping out of the page demanding to be read. This IS a great deal, Senna movie or not but I fail to see how the laissez-faire approach to marketing hasn't killed this title. I'm no Marketer but it's not difficult... Their professional marketing team offering... My quick 5 minute photoshop go... I would have included 6 issues of the magazine (as per the promotion), but just wanted to show what was achievable by changing the wording and adding the picture of the DVD.

Used to read this all the time (back in the day before it was like £5 an issue or whatever it is now!). Would sometimes take one off the shelf and read it in the Starbucks they used to have in my local Borders store. Nowadays you can find all this information on the web, so it's kinda redundant. I think I will give them another go at this price though! Thanks!

Thanks for the deal and going to extra effort to find out the amount they had left.

Same company so first come first served.

I seen the offer in this months What HiFi, theirs a picture and it clearly states that the earphones are the E10's. I typed the code M1211P and it took me to the page i've linked to. I wasn't happy that they didn't state that the earphones were the E10's so I phoned them up and spoke to one of the managers and he said that they were the E10's and their was 62 pairs left, that was about a week ago. If your interested and want to be safe give them a ring they will do the order over the phone if you want. One other thing to note is you will be setting up a direct debit which you will need to cancel at some point if you dont wish to carry on with the subscription.
