This deal inspired me to ask Plusnet to price match, which they did and gave me a few more minutes as well. Cheers.

Heat added I'm with TPO - (I got the £3.99 deal on here - thanks HotUKDeals!). So good I bought 2, I would buy more because 1Gb @ £3.99 is hard to beat! Might go for this though, still under a fiver month. I was looking @ the VM unlimited offer and it's £21, I have managed to get by with WiFi connections so big data is not something I would need...
I've been with TPO for roughly 12 months. It's a great deal... If you don't need the data. The data is VERY hit and miss with emphasis on the latter. Obviously it depends where you are but my experience of the data is mostly 3G and it's NOT fast at all. It's so bad I have a dual SIM plusnet which I use just for data... I've been tempted to let the TPO sim go but for the peanuts I pay it does come in handy sometimes, like when travelling abroad. Strangely, when I was in Belgium I got a good data connection, better than I got roaming on plusnet... So, for less than £50 a year I keep hold of it, more as a "just in case" back up sim. Has also come in when I'm close to my monthly renewal on plusnet and I've maxed the data out. In short, good as a back up 😃
Can't tether much with 1.5gb
