Thermalright Chill Factor 3 Thermal paste for CPU £3.50 with FREE DELIVERY @ Amazon.co.uk

Been recently looking for a good thermal paste, found this.....

According to the reviews its a top 5 one, excellent thermal capacity, also you can easily get it in UK while others are either hard to get or quite expensive while performing a degree or so lower. Plus you get a nice paste spreader...
see here and picture below:
dvhardware.net/art…tml

Had a look around..average price £6-8 including delivery...but hey hey, found a good deal on amazon - just £ 3.50 with FREE DELIVERY

Follow these steps:
1)click the link
2)click "more buying choices" on the right
3)order from "amazon.co.uk"

ignore that it says out of stock - they send it quite quickly...reason i waited with this post is wanted to see how quickly - ordered on Tuesday 23rd April, got dispatched today (25th April)
..so no wait at all. Judging that it still says "out of stock" think they must be getting it only when you place an order.

So all you PC builders - excellent paste for half the price than everywhere else

-----------------------
update as of 04/07 - paste is in stock but shipping terms has changed as below
"Add-on Items are dispatched with orders that contain £20 or more of items dispatched by Amazon.co.uk. "

So this has effectively expired ??

Arrived saturday morning

thanks for the reply, hopefully mine arrive as quickly too!

I ordered but after a few days had an email to say delivery was put back to mid may. so I cancelled.

Good price though I'd pay a bit more for the higher end paste, simply because you only use it once so might as well be the best

For .5 of a degree I don't think it matters that much unless you really really need that .5 of a degree for the ultimate overclock, but im sure in most peoples cases there happy to save the £4 or so and settle with this.

ordered, time for a repaste and cleanup of system voted, Ice cold I hope lol

I actually got the Tuniq TX-4, a really good paste

"1-2 month dispatch estimate" well aint that dandy Amazon!

I get this stuff for 2.99 when I order it with other stuff on Scan. 3.50 delivered is pretty good.

Switch to Shin-Etsu X23-7783D (or any Shin-Etsu thermal paste really) and you won't look back.

looks like maybe ive been lucky...mine didnt mention anything about 1-2 months and got it just a few days later...

edit:
on the other hand remember ordering a few other items (some even from deals here) where item was out of stock, dispatch time 1-2 months, got it in 2-3h weeks max

Yeah I got an email a week later saying my item is being dispatched early. Got it about 3 days after that

did alot of research and this is the best at this price, Tuniq tx2 and Shin-Etsu X23-7783D can be bought for around 4.50 from ebay but dont know if Shin-Etsu are real or fake on ebay

the 65g for £21 is the best deal enough for MOST people for a lifetime

ebay.co.uk/itm…754

I usually get MX 2

found it's the best

not too sticky not too thick, spreads well and easily and is cheaper than most other pastes

some people swear by as5 but personally find it a nightmare to work with and expensive for what you get

good for xbox 360

This is only available as an add on. If you buy something for, say, £5 and it's super saver, will they add this to the order? Or does it *have* to be part of a £20+ order?

Thanks ando. They usually send out massive boxes for anything you buy, can't imagine why they can't just chuck in a tiny 4g tube of paste too oO

Do you guys think this is good enough for PS3 or should I pay more for the arctic silver?

Good enough for the PS3? You could probably use toothpaste on the PS3 as long as there is some sort of paste between the chips and heatsinks it should be fine!

Okay in all seriousness, this paste will be perfect and so will pastes that arn't as credited as this. As long as you dont get some extremely cheap paste then most thermal pastes will be fine for using on the PS3

I guess you didn't look at the comparation above, it's 13 degrees difference between some of them...

Good paste, great value. But unfortunately a case where Amazon's new "add-on" delivery service is a disadvantage. This was 3.50 delivered before- by itself. If I now have to spend over 20 to get it, the price should go down (a few pennies I know, but it's the principle that counts)...

Has this stuff got a sell by date. going to put it in my new machine build 2015. Looks like some uber paste though.

hardly uber mx-2 can be had for £4-4.50 for 8g over this 4g all for that 1.5c drop in temps
