I wouldn't mind one of these mugs for work but I'm yet to pick one up in a shop that actually states that it's fit for travel purposes. Every single one I've looked at has said that they must be kept upright or they'll leak. What use is that ?

good price. hope they travel well!!

What sort of drinking vessel are you imagining that has no way for the liquid to get out?

Divvy

Well I'd like to think the purpose of a lid, which these have, would be to stop said liquid getting out whilst the lid is on.

are these plastic or stainless steel inside?

These are never airtight, so will leak. They don't keep drinks warm for very long, either.

Best get a thermos if you don't want spills.

I've never really seen the point of these. If you're carrying hot drinks on the move you carry a vacuum flask and either use the lid or bring a cup from home with you.

Might be useful I suppose if you plan to drink a hot drink in a cold environment or you like to leave your hot drink lying around....

In a lot of office/computer companies you need a mug with a lid (health and safety) if you can happen to find one that can take being nudged over on a desk (a lot of the thermos ones have a spring loaded level that opens the drinking hole on the cup) then all the better.

Far as I know it's just the thermos ones though

Got 2 of these.

They are plastic inside and have a button on top that lets the liquid flow out through the spout.

Both of them are absolutely awful......avoid like the plague!!!!

Fill with coffee, screw on lid. Drink from cup, coffee drips out of the seal between the lid and the cup. Both cups were the same. Do they not have any form of quality control?

Will be returning tonight!
