Hi, found a huge 1.8L Thermos in sainsburys Bournemouth after just buying an ultimate small Thermos for £20 in the max next door, figure this one will be great for cold drinks at the beach, 2 cups.

Perhaps because they drop them??
The glass thermos flasks work much better for heat retention. It’s a right story about metal. Think about it. Which of the two materials conduct heat and which don’t.

The glass smashed in mine. During the snow days in December, we left it in the boot for the day. We went to use it in the evening and the glass had smashed.

🔥this is such a good size for small groups! just dont use a metal spoon to stir the hotchocolate powder when filling it up! 😬 at this price i can replace my one that ended up full of exploded glass! x

It's almost worth the hours drive there and back to get it. I won't though.

Don't know why thermos insist on sticking with the vacuum glass bottles when their double walled steel ones are more durable and outperform.
