Ideal for broth, soup or chilled fruit salads, this flask has a folding spoon inside and the stainless steel lid doubles as a cup. The double-walled stainless steel structure keeps its contents warm for up to 7 hours or cold for up to 12 hours.
Looking after your flask
For safety and hygiene, clean your Thermos product with warm water and washing-up liquid prior to initial use. For best results, before each use, pre-fill for about three minutes and then empty, using either hot water for hot drinks or cold water for chilled drinks.
Never use a microwave or conventional oven to pre-heat the flask. If it hasn't been used for some time, rinse with warm water to remove any residual odours. Do not immerse it in water or overfill it. Store it with the stopper off. For difficult stains, put a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in hot water with the stopper off. After filling, always ensure that both the outside cup and stopper are tightly closed.

£6 in Tesco for very much the same by Thermos and all steel
I think thermos gear is absolutely brilliant but I don't think this is much of a deal for what it is, £14.99 reduced to £13.33 (11% off)

Yea I enjoy a bargain as much as the next person but I don't think this is much of a bargain in my opinion
I've got hot soup, and a couple of choc ices in my thermos tonight.

Have you got a link for that? I can't see any food flasks in Tesco, let alone a thermos branded one for £6.
I think Sainsburys at same price too
Thanks for posting @s2bounce we have added this to today's Highlights

I have two of these and they are brilliant. I've had pretty much every food imaginable in them and they do a great job! 😁

Amazing thing a Thermos, to keep hot things hot and cold things cold, though I hadn't come across one that does both a the same time until now - amazing things.

Surely the soup would melt the choc ice? lmao
Reminds me of a joke my old man once told me.

David Beckham: “Hey Garry, have you seen these flasks? It keeps hot things hot and cold things cold.”

Garry Neville: “amazing, so what have you got in it?”

David Beckham: “a coffee and a choc ice”
Seen these a few times in TK Maxx for about a tenner. Bought my dad one last year and he loved it.

I think these are all coffee mugs and not the squatter food containers, which are more like jars really....good find though.

These are usually £17-£20 in the shops and on Amazon most of the time. Using the Amazon price tracker they've only been under £13 twice in 6 years so it is a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the pic Bee and Missymathmo, that's a good deal too if they're the Thermocafe food flask. While the Thermos King is a nicer and more solid flask flask I'm sure that one does the job too.
Thanks Missy and Bee. The £6 are deffo food flasks and come with a plastic spoon, not folding steel fork in the lid.

Which Tesco please? Just been local and non there that I can find.
Eston Grange had a cardboard tower rack full and in different colours
They are food flasks. It says so on the label. And they are reduced from £12 to £6. And they are Thermos brand. Not Tesco own
brand .And they come with a plastic spoon in the lid. And the shop I was in last Sunday had about 2 dozen of them. And at least 2 other people have kindly snapped them.

Then I stand corrected. They don't look like the one I have that has a steel spoon inside the lid, but they must have redesigned them.

This was Wellington Tesco Extra
Thermocafé is the budget end of the Thermos line, those £6 ones won't perform as well as the King flask in this deal. I own one of these and it's great, microwave a bowl of stew in the morning, pour it in and it'll still be so hot at lunch time that you'll need to blow on it.

Hot things hot and cold things cold - should do what it says on the tin. I regularly keep my liquid nitrogen in there along with a blazing log fire. ;0'
Hi all,

I have used the thermo cafe ones but they do not keep the food warm beyond 1 hr. But the other (£13.33) ones are really very good. I have now replaced thermostat cafe ones with these red ones. Have 3 at home and can vouch for the hot food. Not tried cold salad etc though but am sure would be good too.
Bought one and soup is cold after 2 hours
