Sorry to burst your bubble but cheaper in asda £2-£2.50 same size

Original Poster

Bubble will only burst when link is posted proving the aforementioned thermal drinking apparatus is available to purchase for less than £3

Thanks, ordered.

Been after one of these for when I'm in the office at work. Cheers.

Anyone have a link to a 0.6 litre version please?

The asda one aint thermos, this looks way better

Heat added........ And for at least 45 mins

Thanks Howie and AnnaMak, ordered 1 of each, one for my other half

Thanks...ordered 3 ;0)

Ordered thanks!

I had one very similar that leaked when its on its side or upside down. And the amazon reviews say the same. Beware!

The asda one IS thermos, I bought one. Very same as shown in the photo.

Same price I think, maybe 50p less but hardly a great loss if you buy from amazon.

heat added. great find

I had one, unless you keep it upright and steady it leaks!

why would you put it upside down or on it's side?

it's not a flask, it's a travel mug, don't travel upside down and you'll be fine

I'll chip in and agree with other people who have mentioned the leaks. These cups do spill, even though there's a lid.

The other thing that would stop me buying another (I've had 2 - one Thermos, the other generic brand) is that after a while, they begin to smell. I drink tea and coffee from mine and no matter how much I take care to keep them clean, the plastic inside eventually picks up a stale smell.

I've been on the lookout for one made of metal inside, but haven't found anything so far.

Jeez. The lid isn't meant to be watertight. If you want one that can travel upside down without leaking go for an Aladdin screw top travel mug. Don't expect to be able to sip it through the lid though 'cos it ain't designed for that. It will keep a drink hot for 4 hours though.
This thermos one is probably plastic lined and a swine to keep clean/fresh smelling, will only keep a drink hot for half an hour and the sippy lid is only designed to be splashproof ie. stop it overflowing while docked in a cupholder while travelling. People complaining it leaks while upside down are surely not serious? Are they???

Some of the SBucks ones are well sealed and metal inside...... cost 3 times as much though cause youre basically topping up the tax they didnt pay all those years

Love how these keep hot things hot and cold things cold. Keep a cup of tea and a choc ice in mine.

Voted hot

I have a bubba keg and ruined it with hot chocolate. Now I can only drink hot chocolate out of it as it hums of chocolate. I guess if I liked mochaccino that would be alright! I've never seen a metal lined travel mug but did see a porcelain one once. Too heavy and easily smashed for me.

Heat,thank you

I find my cup of tea usually leaks when laid on its side too

Does your coffee taste like plastic with this? I bought an ASDA brand one for traveling to work and my coffee tastes like plastic. If this is any better I'll buy this

Clean it with boiling water and vinegar.

Leave the mixture in to cool then rinse it out a few times.

The asda deal was in store, from the trafford park branch if anyone cares. And to all those who own one complaining of the smell, did you read the care instructions? A teaspoon of bicarb of soda gets rid of the smells as well as heavy stains.

Doesn't the choc ice melt? Would you not be better keeping them separate?
