Cheap for a kingsize pocket sprung memory foam mattress.

I have this mattress and I like it a lot, but it is firm (5 out of 6 on the firmness scale). Might be worthwhile noting that I also bought the non memory version and that is much-needed softer (3 out of 6 on silentnight's rating). The memory foam is a layer on top and it does get quite warm to sleep in - good for winter but something to be aware of for summer

Got this with the Silentnight divan a couple weeks ago for little over £300. Yes, it's a huge improvement over a traditional spring mattress but it is quite hard for my liking. Pretty sure this is the one which has won all the Which? awards but I would advise trying it out first - pretty much every bed shop across the country will stock this under various guises - according to Silentnight they are all structurally the same, only the fabric pattern differs.

Added heat!! Got my Silentnight from Tesco using a glitch from UKHD last year, got a nearly 400 pound mattress for 164 quid-ish top bargain

Indeed but for pocket sprung you're talking £200 plus so for a 3 year old (who will most likely bounce the life out of it:)) this will do for a few years:) Hopefully I will have no probs with delivery, they said it's tomorrow and I'm home all say so fingers crossed!

mico coil = cheap cheap cheap

Got to be pocket sprung if your going for a spring based mattress

ordered a mattress from here earlier this year the customer services were appalling with multiple delivery dates cancelled the day of delivery eventually arrived a month later than original delivery date. If you are home during the day regularly and not in a rush for it then I'd order from here but if you will have to take time off work to sign for it might be better to pay a little more for a reliable company who turn up when they're supposed too. Heat added for the excellent price.

This is very much the higher end of what I was looking to spend but since my last memory foam mattress lasted under a year, it could be money well spent...Does anyone know how long this is expected to last?

as said by ryansonic the reviews are good but always difficult to judge any product's longevity.

i am hoping mine will last. it feels of a high quality (very heavy and deep) and i am finding it very comfortable and supportive. i went for this one as my previous mattress was full memory foam (no springs) and it soon sagged. this one probably doesn't have as much foam as some pocket foam mattresses but you can't feel the springs at all

I spotted the same deal and have been pondering on buying - now bought today, not a single negative review about this mattress. Much cheaper than everywhere else, asked amazon to pricematch but they never after waiting a week for them to do so.

It isn't 2100 pocket springs. It is 750 'miracoil' springs and 1350 'mirapocket' springs:

http://www.silentnight.co.uk/miracoil-mirapocket/

What they've done there is invented their own names for things so their marketing department can work their magic.

You were promoting it and I doubt anybody ever paid over £700 for it. Although I agree, for £200 it is probably a decent enough mattress. If anybody got it at the previous £170 that it was at then even better

reviews seem to suggest it forms dips after time

Our current mattress started to get a bit ropey so we got a memory foam topper. It was OK for a few weeks but then just moulded itself into two dips and has stayed like that since. I assume the full mattresses would be better than this.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007XDNM0M/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=kitchen a lot better and 156 pounds cheaper here

and how is it different lol..Both are pocket spring mattresses.

1. It's a different manufacturer.
2. It's latex rather than memory foam.
3. The silentnight isn't really 2100 pockets.
