Hi, I posted this original deal and now feel a bit guilty and dismayed by your experience. I assume you bought the two lights? I have 5 of these, 2 sets and a freebie (I thought one was faulty and contacted them) and had a spare one sent to me (be aware they only send the head unit). Amazingly, the faulty on is now working and I know why. Basically, what they don't tell you is that if the button is pressed and in one of the off positions, the unit will not charge at all and will never work. The button operates a two way switch on combination of presses, the combination is 1 press - off, 2 presses - on low power, 3 presses - off, 4 presses - on full power. But you'll never know which part of sequence you are in unless working. What I'm thinking is that your 'duff' one is in one of the off positions and will never charge, this happened to me and I thought it was faulty. So, what I suggest is press the button just once, don't press it again. Then put light in garden in no shade so it gets full sunlight and leave it. I'm not saying this will work and you may well have a faulty unit, but give it a try. All the best Phil
