Gutted I missed this! Great whisky and a great price. Tried this PX version after first buying the travel exclusive Laphroaig Brodir which was fantastic; one of my favourites
Great balance of sweet sherry and that laphroaig peat, bought a bottle at duty free for about £55. Amazing value for a litre of decent whisky.
For those who don't know. PX = Pedro Ximenez sherry, which is also used to make Nigella Lawson's epic Xmas pudding.
It's a litre bottle too!!!
Heat. Bought 2 for the kids rooms.
Funnily enough my two favourite vodkas are black cow and chase, both outstanding imo, chase overall, black cow for particularly good smoothness.
You should try the fish and chips distilled one too.
Nice enough vodka - just a shame their marketing idiots don't know what the English flag looks like! Or maybe they don't actually have any national pride, but are merely cynically exploiting words/symbols they think will help sell their product.
Chase make some fantastic drinks (y)
Look up Black Cow Vodka.
Can't beat a dram or four of knob creek . cheaper and stronger, also it tastes lovely
Wish I could afford this, will console myself with a wee dram of the 10 year old
i know its likely not any use to you but japan has really really low taxes on whisky... so in japan its £129 https://www.amazon.co.jp/1/dp/B001TP8NEK/ perhaps on your next holiday/buisiness trip
Can someone find me a hibiki 17 for £150?
Prefer hibiki 17
Nice good work.

I agree ...I would much rather have this :D
I'm sure it's very nice stuff....but if you asked me wether I want a bottle of this... or 8 bottles of chivas regal at £20(posted earlier) for same price, then its no contest. but I voted hot due to price reduction, so cheers anyway.
If the missus leaves me before xmas will put this in her chair and will probably cuddle it a lot more, heat added.
Honest John Walker made me logged on and leave comment. Shared all over on social media at least a bottle will be sold. Hopefully 1% commission.
I am taking the easy and lazy way out of this conversation and blame my predictive text ;)
Makes no sense whatsoever. Oh and it's you're..
Sorry that's right your an expert..
Irn..in..Predictive text...and obviously you're extremely dim if you think it was a SERIOUS comment, jeez, do you take everything you read so literally?!
It's now avbl in UK market. The Whisky Shop at Manchester also confirmed its delivery very soon. I also saw this at Manchester T1 terminal arrival exit shop for £40 for one litre bottle
I got it in an email from masterofmalt earlier today, just said diageo had announced the return in the UK market.
do you have a link to show me ?
According to the manufacturer it's now back for good in the UK due to popular demand
Was £24 in Tesco, keep an eye on the offers
Great wee drink, tried quite a few Bourbons in my time, and this tops them all Try Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado all £29 quid for a btl
Yes of course, I didn't think you was anyway.

Sorry, not having a go just stating that for the same money you can go to Tesco
Sorry I would expect a litre at that price lol

Ordered one in desperation that someone will swap it for a Flamedeer?
about a year or so after I finished my Port Ellen, I found the same exact one for sale for a shade over £2k ! oO
Yep, me too, bought a bottle of Glen Mhor 1969 20 years ago for around £20. Sadly have now drunk all but a glassful. https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-2528.aspx
wish I had a case of that in the garage! 900 quid a bottle!
I got given a 1982 cask strength Port Ellen a little while back made the mistake of opening it before I realised just how sought after it was going to become go look at how much they go for these days... :| it was absolutely incredible though
At that price I wouldn't be drinking it, I would be framing it!
Thanks op ordered my second bottle (very nice taste recommend)
Stocking filler :)
Bought a bottle a few days ago it tastes like goats urine so I'm sorry but I have to vote cold..
Was just about to order then read this in the description : " box has missing pins " £16.5k and they can't fix the box !!
great with pepsi
Quick search and you find it cheaper...

No of course not as it says 'a significant contribution to modern life'. Up the Saddlers
Probs will be scanning at 1p in Tesco
Think it will go well with my tesco value mac & cheese....ordered! Heat!
Does Tony Blair get one?
Read an article the other day that showed how people were making more money investing in various whiskies, wines etc than could be made on the stock market or investing in precious metals.
It wasnt the regular punters i was worrying about. It's the every day ones, who might not know about this site and would welcome not paying an extra £50 for something they can buy online instead. I take exception to the fact that someone, on the auction site i didnt mention, has acquired 3 bottles, all at the same time and is only looking for £50 profit. Like i say it wasnt ever going to reach 1000+ heat but for some JD collectors (which I am one) this is a decent item.
I love JD and I Have a bottle of the 1915 Gold Medal which was fairly expensive (around £55 - £60 I think) to be honest it is no better than normal JD and far inferior to the single barrel which is normally around £37 in Tesco. So if you fancy something a bit nicer than normal JD get down Tesco and get some single barrel.
Jeesh, people are so negative on this site. Great find thanks
Nice spot, I actually quite like this deal. I spotted this last year, but I belive it was only available in certain airports (london), so this is the first that I know of anywhere to buy this online. I shall be picking one of these up now and putting it away as a christmas present.
Seriously, you need not have worry about any HUKD members being fleeced if they are willingly purchasing £150 bottles of JD
http://www.thechampagnecompany.com/products/bulleit-bourbon-frontier-whiskey-70cl £24.80 with p&p
Buckfast and a deep-fried kebab. Yummy.
Not quite as lethal as the idiots that play the green trumpet. :p This stuff makes good use of the word 'boggin',
And specifically responsible for helping anti-social behaviour http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/tonic-wine-buckfast-behind-violent-crimes-1871416.html
This is about the price it is the the corner shop anyway BUT in general it is good value for money as once you have consumed the high caffeine/alcoholic content, you can then use the glass bottle as a weapon.. well.. that's what shamefully happens here in Glasgow .. turns otherwise decent people in to A-holes Definitely not the type of wine you have on the dinner table!!! xx
As recommended by Rab C Nesbitt.
Some people aren't very bright. Why pay a lot more for a naff kracken glass
You can buy kraken cheaper in Sainsburys. From what I can see you are paying an extra £6 odds for a branded glass.
[image missing] It'll put hairs on your, erm, chin.
It would be quite close on price if you had to pay for a delivery slot with Ocado. If you have delivery pass or it is that price on the shelf in Waitrose then of course this would be more expensive. It also suggests it is a PM with Tesco altough I didn't check.
BAH! Good spot, too late for me but you may have saved others. Didn't show up when googling. Ha, still asleep, missed the description of it there.
My favorite tipple. I've had a couple of these gift boxes before from Airport D/F. Remember to use cucumber and not lemon or lime. 8)
Pretty sure this is cheaper at Waitrose
