great deal cheers!

Suitable for ages 18 or over?

Just ordered the last one in my local, Cheers OP. My Bicycle cards will fit perfectly and hopefully people will now stop accusing me of cheating! ( Hindu shuffle, Elmsley count? No idea what you are talking about)

wonderful, I want it for shuffling Ticket to Ride cards. Just wonder what is Argos policy for prolonging the reservation - can only go to pick it up on Wednesday?

Darn. Not available in the nearest 10 stores to me or where I work.
Oh well good for whoever gets it.

Got the last one in my local... 2 each left as I write in Belfast Connswater, and Bangor.
Thanks OP.

I've been in a similar situation and reserved and re-re-reserved items plenty of times with Argos without a problem; just need to make sure you re-reserve the item quickly enough at the end of trade to ensure availability.

As for the deal; heat added OP

Thx OP been after one of these for sometime.

Great need one of these because everyday I'm shufflin

Another thing that I don't really need but I want it cos it's cheap! Thanks alot HUKD!

These things are crap. Spread the cards out on the table, push them all together and be done with it. Save yourself £3, a whole lot of noise and probably better randomisation.

Does anyone know if this still works if you only have one pack of cards as opposed to the two being used for the picture?

lol...split the pack in two

Seriously who can't shuffle? a chimp could do it.

I bought one of these and it didnt work, took it back to argos for another and that didn't work either. Turns out it WONT work with rechargeable batteries!?

It's only a positive and negative terminal on the battery

How on earth does it know of its rechargeable battery's ? Lol

I also am going to buy it for shuffling ticket to ride cards!

Bought one of these recently. Very (!) loud, enough to give up on it on a late night. Cheap build as well.

For £2.99 it's a bit of a gimmick for ten minutes use I guess. Hot still I suppose.

4 rechargable =5 volts 4 normal =6 volts

I have a very similar (probably actually the same) product from Ebuyer and it is very noisy - it rattles in use like a cheap child's tin toy. It does not work well with 4x AA rechargeable batteries, and is still not that great with alkaline AA batteries. It is not a random shuffle (if you are that bothered) as you just split the pack and it tries (badly) to mix from each side in turn. You would have to do this a few times to get a proper shuffle. Each time I've tried to use it someone has ended up just taking the cards and shuffling them out of frustration. I can shuffle, but thought this would add some coolness to poker nights - FAIL.

I don't get the comments about the noise, it takes a few seconds to shuffle right?

great landfill fodder!

Normal (alkaline) batteries operate at 1.5V voltage, whereas rechargable Ni-Cd ones at 1.2V.

An essential purchase, no home is complete without this device.......haha

Don't understand why this is not suitable for the under 18s.

My boys (age 7 & 5) regularly play UNO and are always asking one of us parents to shuffle. This would be ideal (if in stock anywhere near where I live!)

It should take seconds but actually takes longer due to sticking, misfeeds, etc. Mine often feeds one side then the other (Basically splitting the pack, which I could do in a split second, quieter and for free. And it it a really annoying noise so even a few second of it is horrid, unless you have music on when you are playing or don't mind the noise. Maybe for kids so you don't have to shuffle for them, but if it doesn't actually work anyway, you'll still end up shuffling!

Sad now, none near me... W8 & W12 in London... sniff sniff!

Agreed.

Have tried a couple of these and found much the same. They don't work very well.

Even the folk who couldn't shuffle very well preferred to persevere and just hand shuffle rather than using one of these ....

OOS everywhere near me

sounds like a cheap deal....... unfortunately it looks cheap too.

Sorry, this item is currently out of stock
to pick up at your 10 nearest stores
Would you like to ...

Yes. You may be 16 and you can have sex and drive, but don't even think about using my card shuffler, son.

Just went out and bought this and can say it's well and truly awful, its quicker and a hell of a lot easier to shuffle it by hand.

Its great watching these babies go!! nifty little things
