Books with words and paper and learnin' and stuff don't seem to be much of HUKD speciality, but here goes anyway.

This has only been out for 2 months and has a RRP of £12.99. You'll struggle to find it any cheaper than around £8 on other sites. Amazon had it at £9 until 7 days ago. Even the Kindle version is only 25p cheaper. I was going to wait for the paperback version at the end of the year (currently £8.70 on preorder!) but found they were rehashing too much of the content on their podcast and I'd prefer to read it first, and then listen.

I just pray no one thinks I'm pushing a garbage self-help book, because the title doesn't do itself any favours in that respect.

Their rational explanation of why e-mail scammers always say they're from Nigeria rather than any other country without the scamming reputation has had me thinking for days...

Looks like an interesting title, I'll give it that much..

Going by the description I think the wife may have written this better to avoid me thinks

Latest in the Freakonomics franchise; if you like to have an alternative viewpoint on contemporary trends then these are fantastic (their thoughts on the decline in modern crime rates ensures a healthy debate...)

If it's not your kind of holiday reading, I'd probably understand.

This is a cracking book, if you like food for thought then it's well worth a read!

The Freakanomics books were amazing
Will definitely be purchasing this
