This version of M630e is the cheapest one on the net at the moment. Other sellers at least selling for £329 if not more.
Lenovo Germany was giving the ryzen quadcore version for around £280 on mydealz with 8GB and 256GB but price has gone up now approx £330, that maybe a better deal to be had, or hopefully they'll launch it on the uk lenovo store soon.

Also noticed loads of lenovo laptops going via mydealz from their site, and they get to choose free-dos OS saving money, looks like Lenovo is trying to fleece the UK market atm
Keep an eye out on eBay, managed to grab a m75q-1 with a 3400ge and Vega 11 graphics, 256gb nvme for 200 in January, they were popping up quit regularly

I’m sure that was a refurbished model. Still, very good price.

128gb and 4gb is quite poor.

You can download windows from Microsoft and use without activation, works perfectly fine.
I'd say this is a pretty decent tiny PC, easy enough to add more ram if needed, 4GB will be ok for daily chores like email, web, word processing and youtube.

Sure you can, Windows Pro cost £219 on its own, so another 60 quid spend on i3, 4GB ram, 128GB SSD and so on..Looks pretty good to me.

It may do but it's theft so please stick to a fair comparison, where can you get better for cheaper?

Deskmini a300, 2x4gb ram, amd 3200g, 256gb ssd can be bought for less money and will blow this out of water.

No you are wrong - Microsoft are happy for home users to use unactivated Windows because it cuts down on malware from cracked OS and 10 is designed to work in that mode - the only difference is that you can change backgrounds and you get an unactivited logo.

No. I am right, read the license you've agreed to. Unless of course you have proof otherwise?

err that'll cost over £300 to spec up to what you claimed, without a windows licence..... and it has larger footprint then this machine, and also requires some assembly and a windows key

I used scan.co.uk to add this bits you've said.

EDIT:

We can discuss until tomorrow which one has bigger footprint, really depends on how you look at things:
Lenovo 179mm x 36.5mm x 182.9mm
Deskmini 155mm x 155mm x 80mm

And beauty of the internet is that you don't have to buy all the parts in one place. It's easy to buy it for less than this.

If Windows pro is such a big issue, you can buy code on ebay for few £.
Or even here

In summary, if compared 'like-for-like' as far as possible then:
* 60% larger in size
* 54% more expensive
* Have to assembly yourself
* No 'complete system' warranty or support

Nice alternative but not 'more for less' as you claimed.
