It's a good figure and before any one says "oh its not selling because its 13" , no they always have issues selling figures of this size , their a specific market . Sonics are great so all HOT !
I thought it read thirteen (figures) + sonic Screwdriver!
Why cold? Would have thought this a good stocking filler for any Doctor Who fan....

Possibly that this isn't Dr Who? They took a huge gamble on putting a woman into the role, and it's not gone down well at all. Although apparently the stories are also more social stories than actual sci-fi.
Sadly the storylines with this Doctor were weak and the side characters also a poor choice. It doesn't have anything to do with the fact she's a woman but if you compare the plot from 9th to 13th you can see that the issue is the storylines and characters. I would have gone with Suzanne myself - she was great as the TARDIS. And only one younger male character, halfway intelligent, perhaps not all human for a change? I'm not looking forward to anymore of the 13th's episodes sadly. But hope they are better.

Middle class politically correct anti-male garbage by non Dr Who fans who hadn't a clue about writing let alone Sci-Fi
Bring back Christopher Ecclestone.

Cue ranting politically correct self-important bores who never saw an episode but sing it's praises.......(like the Guardian, BBC, and New Statesman reviewers - all of which rant and squeal childish abuse at the detractors of this insult to Dr Who lore - rather like some on here ! )

I completely agree . I stopped watching halfway through last season as the story's and companions were terrible . Didn't mind a female doctor (although I wouldn't of chosen her) and the social stories weren't an issue ,just the way they were wrote and acted which didn't work for me

Funny I've been watching since Tom Baker and what you said is utter drivel . Romana 1 wanted to be called Fred and tried out male faces , so jog on . As I put in my post most people just don;t got for that size figure (i collect stuff as well ) . What do you do with it basically . But good stocking filler .

Chibnall isnt a great Sci fi writer basically . human interest stories get pretty boring in a fictional universe where 1) People know aliens exist 2) Yeah humans arnt the centre of the universe . So you have an issue with you Granddad , yeah ok , but unless you figure it out that alien invasion will kill you making your problem irrelevant.

Sometimes it works though. Just take a look at the latest Ghostbusters movie.
And 13 inch figures are terrible sellers. Barbie and action man perfect examples of 13 inch dolls that didn't sell.
Did they ever make a 13 inch model of Rosie?

What - the one they're making now with original cast (Sigourney Weaver says "It's going to be crazy working with the guys again,") - or the role reversal female one which failed to the point where the "guaranteed Ghostbusters II" was cancelled ??

All the existing remaining cast we're in it (camo roles) and Dan Akryod gave the green light . It was probably a mistake not to set it in the same universe and say it was an extension of the franchise mind .
Tom Baker rules ( the Universe)

What do you mean by this part?

Thought it was quite obvious, but: You need to have at least a knowledge and liking for Sci Fi to write for a Sci Fi prog wouldn't you say ? The previous best of Dr Who contained the likes of Douglas Adams Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore supplied ideas (not sure if he actually wrote episodes though).
The writers for the current Dr Who seem to think they're writing for a biased prog for a political party never mind a Sci Fi one.
Mystified how that wasn't clear ?
