£687.99 total cost. Good deal, especially with 12gb. Why do they have to spoil these deals by making you pay an upfront payment aswell?
Voted hot!
Can you downgrade from 12gb data to 4gb mid contract for saving?
Not bad, just got the Huawei 9 and I'm paying three £15 a Month, might have gone with this for an extra £10 a Month.

Mate 9? For £15 per month? Retention deal or...?

Would you mind letting me know how you managed to get it for £15 a month? That's pretty much what I'm after!
Shame this is the 64gb version and not the 128gb like they sell at carphone warehouse for £450
Sorry folks, the Huawei 9 was from John Lewis for £279, I have a sim only contract with three that costs me £15. Sorry for any confusion.

The industry is really pushing for upfront costs to be standard. So when they reduce the upfront cost, say from £200 to £100, it's considered a deal. Whereas in the past upfront costs were rare, if I remember right.

I worked in a phone shop for a little while and pricing can be ridiculous at times.
Phone prices have gone silly. Nearly £700 for a Huawei handset is hardly a great deal to me. I think my S6 Edge Plus cost me around a £1000 with the two year contract. It does nearly everything that the S8 Plus does, it's lightning quick with almost identical screen image quality to the latest handset, so I can't justify the spend to upgrade these days.
I don't trust bloody Chinese
You can buy a Onplus 5t or Honor V10 (view 10) for around £350 plus get a 12gb Three sim for £14 plus £60 quidco. £108 a year

Both are better phones and total 24 month price is £566, but you're actually on a 12 month contract so you could save on the 2nd year by renewing your contract and getting more Quidco.
