It may seem like a hassle at first but once you've done it a few times it becomes second nature. Plus why not save on everyday items that you may buy...

Cheers!

Hi kikai I use this SHOPITIZE app now (second time) just wanted to ask can I use receipts from Iceland and other supermarkets or is it just the ones stated in the app? This is really good you even put prices on from various supermarkets for a good deal for all. Well done keep up the great work. Thankyou

Skimming the title...saw the word 'Free'.

Hi busybee4 unfortunately you can only submit receipts from the supermarkets listed in the app. Hopefully in time they may add other stores...

Why are you missing out coop lol

It's difficult to check Coop prices as their website is poor. I do add Coop prices whenever I can...

My wife uses this and keeps a list of what is on offer then compares to own brand and if better / cheaper goes for the offer. Only issue is that sometimes the bar code doesn't scan well in the app or says product is invalid when clearly not, or the product is similar to the offer (same brand, item) but maybe different flavour so be very careful and buy exactly what the offer says.

Also had issues scanning the receipts and their 'ROBOT' not finding the item when it is clearly on the receipt. So is it a bit of a fag? - yes if you only save 10p, but for a few quid maybe not.

With other offerigns such as Quidco, TCB, etc. you can (if you remember) make some healthy savings.

Must say Shopitize is giving my rusty old brains a revival ... Memorise the pic , memorise the weight , memorise the shops where the products are on offer . And eventually manage to get everything mixed up and pick up the wrong products when I go shopping..like the schweppes tonic water last week - I managed to pick up an identical 1l indian tonic water (the shopitise one had an additional word "slimline" on it that my mind did not process lol)

It seems like a faff when u have to chase them up, but I couldn't not try as bargains are sometimes too good not to try. They usually get sorted in the end, just need to make sure u buy the right item eg weight or pack size can sometimes vary from what they offer.

Do u work for Shopitize?

No...

@blkwhte.

I've been caught out in the past but after reading someone else's tip of scanning the bar code of items on offer within Shopitize app as you add them to your basket/trolley, frustrations after purchasing incorrect item(s) can now be avoided. Hope that helps.

Anyone unsure about the Shopitize App (and the very best bargains exploiting it that KiKai highlights each week), see my summary detailing Shopitize and the other FOUR Apps/websites to get £back on your in-store shopping receipts...

hotukdeals.com/dea…003

Note: two of those - the MySupermarket and CheckoutSmart Apps - both got updated in the last week and both are a bit easier to use now. Oh AND my first 2 c£2 payouts from MySupermarket app got paid to my PayPal a/c today, ie within c10 days not 30 max

True tried that once.. Just felt a bit weird scanning it with people looking on.. Maybe I just will have to get used to it...
