Some great offers again this week with lots of capped offers and a few exclusive Pringles offers. Happy shopping, saving & sharing... X)
Thanks Kikai, but isn't the Pringles £1 cashback, not 50p cashback (Sour Cream, Salt & vinegar, Original)?

You're welcome pikachu545, my app is showing the Pringles as 50p cash back but I did have the £1 cash back offer last week. If this is the first week you have the Pringles offer maybe that's why yours is showing as £1 cash back... X)

I just checked my mums account and she has £1 cash back on Pringles so it varies... X)
Splendid analysis as always Kikai - thanks

Despite your 100% valuable work, I have to vote COLD this week as Shopitize need discouraging from their 'capped' offer model.

Do wish Shopitize would sort out their clock issues though : it's been at least a month now that their offer clock has been 1 hour askew, and it could get even worse GMT/BST next month!

Very disappointing this week to see that Shoptize, which rightly has the reputation as the most straightforward of the £back sites (with very regular updates, commonly bought products on offer, offer barcode verification, validation within a few minutes, and the lowest & 100% payout threshold) has this week got such an emphasis on 'capped offers' - with 10 of my 17 being 'capped' ie in no way guaranteed to be available to claim by the time you upload a receipt. Perhaps they should have "n minutes" rather than "x%" showing so you'd have some idea of if you stand a chance of getting round the store to find/buy the item, get it to the checkout, and yourself online to upload the receipt (perhaps having tried to snap the receipt 1...2...3 times with their more haphazard camera function nowadays)!

To would be purchasers these become gambles that by the time (moment/second?) you upload your receipt that any of the capped 100% will still be there to claim. Can only be a recipe for frustration & angst as far as I can anticipate!

Usual reminder for anyone unfamiliar with Shopitize and the 4 competing £back sites/Apps, see my summary on here at:
hotukdeals.com/mis…228

and links to their 'Capped offers' description...
hotukdeals.com/mis…679

PS: KiKai reveals the Milk 25p offer will be capped - so if/when it finally appears in your App, usually around mid-morning, it'll be interesting to see how many minutes, or hours, or days, it will be there for you/anyone to enjoy... Start your 100% to 0% gambling game later today...

PPS: My milk offer just appeared at 1:32am after a final pre-bedtime refresh. Still showing 100% left, so no 24hr shoppers awaiting their chance for c25% milk saving:) Be interesting to see what % is when people wake up. Was down to 98% at Wed 10:30am when I successfully claimed. As a 'claimed offer' it's no longer showing, so have no idea how rapidly milk % is declining.

Thanks for that, fingers crossed there's lots of offers that are capped, I tend to get lazy with my shopping in the early days hehe

Thanks KiKai. Do you know if we're going to get these 'capped offers' every week now? If we have no idea of how many the offers are restricted to, then by the time we get home and submit our receipts, the offer could have disappeared
oh, and Muller corner yoghurt is 10 for £3 at Morrisons!
...which is annoying as it was £2 last week. cunning from Morrisons. ..

Thanks again Kikai.

A lot of offers but none really matching up with good supermarket discounts accept maybe the popcorn and soup. Nice of them to slip in the capped offers without any warning. The last capped offers were great discounts hence the need for limited availability but most of these aren't so I don't see the point other than to catch people out who don't upload in time.

My thoughts aswell when I saw it on again this week. had some lovely yoghurts from it but it must have been a loss leader as I got £4.80 discount for 10 for £2. they did the same last time increasing to £3 in the second week when TCB had it on snap and save the first week.

like others have said, these capped offers are bad news. had to vote cold for that I'm afraid.
I think it would be better to complain about the capping on the fb page. As they can see it directly for themselves & hopefully change it.

no pringles offer for me
I have taken your good advice and posted on their fb page about the capping. Not good.
Not liking the capped deals, sorry

Not liking the capped deals, sorry

me neither, I go shopping on Monday and stock a few things like milk up on Saturday that's when I get there receipts to upload so I will be complaining to them via email!
Thanks for the effort, I'm another who was disappointed that so many offers were capped, even though the discount on those offers was the standard amount. I dint like capped offers but can understand using them for items that are heavily discounted or essentially free.
I didn't get Pringles offer either. Just got my milk receipt in & approved before that's capped.
"Invisable" gold stars last week, now so many capped offers, not impressed at all...
I'll vote hot for KiKai's efforts and submit my disapproval of the capped offers directly to the perpetrators. Voting cold strikes me as akin to complaining to fellow passengers about the train delays rather than dealing with the wretched train operators.

capped offers = cold

something tells me someone from shopitize isn't very far from this thread

I have to disagree - these posts getting 'hot' are probably the best (free) publicity for Shopitize, and I'm sure they must know it. If these start getting less heat/less publicity based on them offering more and more capped offers, they will notice. Not taking away from the OP's effort though.
Flora spread light is £1 in co-op did not have any original in stock but presume that would also be £1.
Thanks op, great selection heat added
Not as many deals as usual on there but thanks for your information kikai as always
Yes this weeks offers both from shopitize and TCB are disappointing, but that takes nothing from kikais effect every week (:
Another disappointed Shopitizer

Deary me get your act together please or people will lose interest.
Thank you for posting this offer. I have never used any of these cashback apps ( not sure how to use them) but after seeing these capped offers set to catch you out I'm going to give it a miss. Shopitize has always looked so good, I felt I was missing out but not any more.
I got stung by a Clicksnap capped offer before so will avoid this. You never know when it will run out.
Wake up and checked the app, to my surprise most of the offers are capped and almost gone..extremely disappointed that shopitize has changed the way they used to be.I was using it a lot but have reduced using it or none some of the weeks. I do appreciate Kikai effort, so not voting either way.
Thanks kikai for your efforts...unhappy with shopitize though I used it quite a lot..
if you have pringles offer they are half price in Waitrose for £1.24 (not the tortilla version)
Agree with posts.
Stupid idea from Shopitize.
Does it mean we have to buy everything all at once and then stuff ourselves before the food goes off?
Train fares CAPPED - YES
Shopitize CAPPED - NO.
Have never rushed out on a Wednesday to buy Shopitize offers and am not about to start now because they have capped most of the offers.

If you mean the App isn't offering you an option to choose between PayPal (with deductions!) and BACS (100% paid out) then I recall someone saying that recently too, though they do offer both:
shopitize.desk.com/cus…ds-

Worth an email to them - eg via the Contact Us menu choice within the App, or their Desk.com site above to find out why/where your BACS option has gone.

I think what people need to do is complain.. The more complaint emails they get the more likely they will be to go back to what it was like before..
Cold due to capped offers
Capped offers would be okay if it meant we could get better discounts in return. If anything, the offers are worse than the uncapped ones we're used to. I doubt many people who shop at weekends will start doing so on a weekday to ensure they save a pound or so. Poor show. There are a number of complaints on their Facebook page too.
facebook.com/Sho…ze/
Shame on Shopitize, capping offers - for me that's the last straw.
While others praise their ease and simplicity in uploading I find it a nightmare. Almost always needing re-snapping, often forwarding for them to sort out and receiving patronising tips on how to upload - when it is their inadequate app is the problem.
I'm told their app does not like either we the Sony Xperia or the MotoG that I use. Very odd, considering the popularity of both.
As for capping - I see that all the offers, capped an un-capped, still say "6 days left... Go shopping and scan barcode before 00.59 23Sept 2015...... Snap your receipt before 00.59 23Sept 2015. Surely that implies that the offer remains valid until then - it's in direct contrast to and regardless of the capping %age left.

There again, whenever you "Take the challenge to earn xxP" you are told "You have earned xxP" Really? No. You've earned the right to xxP cashback IF you buy the product and submit evidence within a timescale. A very different thing.
I'm surprised no one has challenged the legality of their statements - they could certainly be considered misleading, if not false, I'm sure.

Anyway, I've had it with Shopitize now, I'll cash in and quit. Unless they ditch the massive doubt that capping introduces, I'll ditch them. Quite a relief in fact - it's only stubbornness and refusal to be beaten that has kept me using them.... "one day I'll crack it"
Poor offers and not liking the capped offers thing either.
Hope it's just a bad few weeks (been unimpressed a lot recently) and not the death of a great app!!
