Looks cool. But is it tall enough? Height is 30cm so this has to go on top of something

I saw this in there leaflet and was thinking of getting one but I noticed Go-outdoors have a similar one but the reviews are not great and they've put the price up (they were £15). However B & M have this for £13 and I think its also £15 in Home Bargains and/or Poundland......

If you're looking for a portable bbq this one gets good reviews and is only a tenner if you have a go-outdoors discount card.

Do they deliver - I dont want to be seen in a LIDL

İ could not find any either on B&M or on Home Bargains websites. The round is not bad but it is not good for skewers and not as mobile and stable on ground as square one.

I get the feeling this isn't in Poundland, gari.

I've owned one of these before and took it to a festival.

After the one use it was warped and all the paint was peeling off.

Pile of crap. Emailed the company I bought it off and they refunded me without even wanting to see the product.

Looks similar to the one I bought in ASDA last year (sold off at half price):

http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-Fold-Flat-Portable-Barbecue/001679202,default,pd.html

Usable for 1 or two people but doesn't hold enough coal for a long bbq.

I only got about 3 uses out of it (which was lucky given the weather last year!) before it warped so badly the grill didn't sit on it any more. ASDA refunded the tenner without question mind...

The Lidl one seems a no brainer with a 3 year warranty.

They can be yes.
More likely here though because the original post is from 2 weeks ago and they change weekly

Some stores might have them left though - they dont remove them from sale after the offer booklet expires if stock is left...

Bought one of these a few years back.....awful. Agree that the paint comes off and warps after one use!

I'd just like to echo the comments about the poor quality of these.
I bought one from firebox a couple of years ago, this one http://www.firebox.com/product/2087/Portable-Notebook-BBQ-Grill
After first use the metal grill and sides warped so badly
it couldn't be folded back up. The black paint peeled of all over, and looked a right mess.
This one might be of a better quality, but I wouldn't of thought so.

Just buy the Weber portable bbq one. Trust me it will last forever, and is really good as well.

Don't go just wearing your underwear! oO

After much looking I've just bought this flat pac BBQ and at first glance it's great and only £13 delivered

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AOLGPEU/sr=8-1/qid=1369221085/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1369221085&seller=&sr=8-1

To get it for £13 you'll need to click on the more buying options and choose TrackPack.

Mine was only delivered yesterday so will be giving it a test run over the weekend, first impressions are very positive, and it's identical to the Gelert one (I'm certain it's just a rebadge) which gets very good reviews.

Amazing that this 2 week old deal has gone hot today.

Do LIDL have lots of stock left to shift or something?

This picture accurately represents alfresco dining in the UK >

I couldn't find one of a rusty BBQ in a puddle, but I'm working on it.

You could always go for the IKEA indoor BBQ, it costs a bit more than this deal, but it comes with a chef and two Scandinavian models, also a token child who you can place on a plastic retro stool (Ikea we love you so much) and ignore whilst feeding it lumps of charcoal.

I would have posted the deal but I bought the last one for myself, I hope that chef is good at cleaning ceilings.

Forgive me if this is stupid, but isn't everything in Poundland a pound?

Heat added simply for the cheesy title

Nope. A lot of the items are either x for a pound or over a pound.
I never quite got it myself, its the same with 99p stores having storage boxes with £2+ price tags on them at the door.

These are great. Yes the paint comes off, but so what?

Got one of these we use for camping - they are ok, not amazing. BUT perfect if you're camping as they fold and take little space, fine for a small BBQ and to use for burning some logs etc in the evenings

i own one of these, or very similar, and i'd agree with those saying it's only suitable for 2 people. it doesnt hold enough coal, or have a large enough grill face to really be ideal for much more than that, but if you just want to grill for a couple its a good deal

love this one and looked for it on the web but cannot find it

Got this in Asda last year for a tenner, good beach/park BBQ.

Don't waste your money.
As many others have said this is a waste of money.
To small cooking area your food will get burned also the paint will peel off and it warps very easily.

Certainly feel hot on your toots beginning next season once the bottom has rusted thro !

Ive got the redesigned one (stainless steel) much better

I can't find this!!!!!

That's 'cause it's all SOLD OUT @ allgardenfun, so a standard search on their site won't bring it up but when they did have it, it was £110! (reduced from £160!!); there do exist 2 smaller sizes of this design (by "Plum"):
Linky to the OOS product page

Amazon also used to sell the Large AND the medium - sadly, both of which are now also "Not Available", so I guess they may well be disontinued then?
Large
Medium

Shame, as they do look good, and really solid.
These are 3 different sizes they make (made?) them in:

http://www.allgardenfun.com/images/2-plum-adelaide-barbecue-large.jpg

and they even look stylish when packed away:

Yep foldable....not disposable means you have to scrape and clean them if you're camping or bring them back in the boot smelling....

I got one of these from B&M Stores yesterday for £12.99 ...

It works really well ... as long as you use quite a bit of coal ...
